So I rode iSpeed 5 times this weekend, 3 times on Saturday and 2 times on SUnday!
And, yeah, what can I say, except that IT'S THE BEST RIDE I'VE EVER BEEN ON!!!
Seriously, even tho, it bangs your head a bit, and the lines were HUGE, it still pwns Katun. The launch is unexpected, and you don't exactly know when you're going to launch... The time from when the train starts moving to the actual launch varries a bit... The launch is very forcefull, and I absolutely loved it. It just made me scream, I couldn't help myself. The pullup into the tophat is quite insane also. It was so forcefull, it pushed my restraint down, even if I tryed to resist it with my legs! The top hat is simply THE most amazing element. The view in the front (only rode 2nd row tho) is amazing, but the back wins hands down. There was airtime over the ENTIRE tophat. Even if at the very top, it was probably only around 0G... The sensetion on the 2nd half of the tophat is the best thing I have ever experienced!I will never forget the moment, where you are staring directly at the ground/pullout below you, and being pushed out of your seat by the crazy negative force. Soon after the pullup starts, there's a headchopper, a banking transition, another head chopper, and before you know it, you're out of your seat again! That hill is absolutely insane! -1.5Gs across the whole thing. The trims didn't really take away from the experience. If you were in the front, they only increased the force that pushed you out of your seat, and in the back, I hardly felt it at all... The S transition was crazy fast, and banged your head a little. The following turn was very forcefull. The S hill had some really nice air, and quite strong lateral forces. If you weren't prepared for it, it was quite the headbanger. Same story with the insane corkscrew! Awesome element, but a little heavy on the lats. The banked bump thingy was up next. First time I rode it, there was a nice floaty pop of air, and not that many laterals, but on the other side of the train (left), the spike was quite forcefull. The Italian loop was a fun element, and very forcefull. The barrelroll was taken at a really fast speed, and is also a really great element! The MCB transitions weren't as bad as they seemed, altho, you could bang your head a little, if you weren't prepared. Also, the MCB almost didn't stop the train at all, leaving enough speed for the last bunny hop to have some mild floater air, and the last turn to pull some nice Gs.
Overall, like I said, my new Nr. 1 ride, and IMO everybody should ride it!
BTW, it doesn't really loose pacing till the MCB, and the rest was the bast connection between the brakes and the station I've EVER seen! You could also coun't it as a part of the actual ride, really, becouse it is still a really fun part, with the insane transition from the MCB, a floaty hill and a forcefull turn.
