11+ inversions is a rather rediculous amount. Going through 10 inversions looks meh to begin with, but 12 and they can't even be the same thing over and over again is a little rediculous. I mean, it basically requires every element to have a positvie force. And to put in 10 inversions that basically have all positive forces is just repetitive. So basically what I'm saying is, lets never do a nother contest like this. 10+ inversion tracks are really boring. Even Buster's from the CS.com contest that was similar to this (all though really well built) was a bit on the bland side. Even with an original element. So next time I think there should be something better, like a better idea for a design or something.

Quitters never win. This can be proven by looking at the fact that I'm not winning because I quit after reading the rules.

A quick progress update from me. I decided to scrap the cobra roll and go with a dive loop instead. I'm now working on what's going to be my main original element, which i'll say nothing more about other than it's called the space roll. [:D]

[lol], there are non, you should make a little bit of hills to make trenches or tunnels, but not create a himmalaya or replica of the rockymountains or grand canyon

Oh, come on, people. There is a reason that this is a challenge... it's supposed to be challenging. This contest is a true test of originality. I've got the 11 inversions in my coaster with a more exciting pace than the old B&M's. It's not really that difficult, you just have to come up with some original stuff.

The hardest part for me is getting the track done on time. There's 2 weeks left and i've only done the elementary track for the first 2/3 of the ride. I want to try and finish the track completely by the end of this week, so I can have enough time do do the supports well without rushing them.

building a track is never difficult for me. The only challenge is that i don't like supporting on inverted coasters [lol]

I've got a little teaser screen of my ride,I didn't want to open a topic for it.

Quite a big supporting job, making a mountain around the ride(I made it with catwalks)

That zero g roll looks really tight. Are you sure that has less than 1.4 lats in all seats?

After having built a coaster myself, I realize that keeping the g's under control is a bigger issue than I thought. The requirements for g's are remaining the same, but I will be a LOT more lenient when it gets to the rating. Brief yellow verts or lats in the low range will not result in too much of a deduction, maybe .25 off technical. Red g's are still unforgivable, however, and are an automatic 1 or more point off technical.

I should say lower the inversion(s) rather then doing something that breaks a rule AND what will make it un-realistic...

Well now that the g's are better I could actually do it!

Still, I have school things to work on more then NL atm.

I'll finish the track sooner or later and post it for you all.
