I live near the newly remodeled/reopened Kentucky Kingdom, and I've recently discovered my love of adrenaline rushes. As such, I love roller/water coasters. I quite like water coasters more, and I've been to Holiday World with my friends numerous times. (I had never been to Holiday World before a year ago, my first time was a year ago; now I know it like the back of my hand) I never really liked roller coasters before this year either, and I've only ever rode Holiday World's rides. Are the rides at Holiday worth a trip up there sometime next summer? If so, what roller coasters and water slides should I ride?

Lightning Run, T3 (Reborn Vekoma SLC [Headbanger]), Thunder Run, are basically all KK's best coasters at the current moment. They have a ProSlide Water Coaster like the Wildebeest, and they have Americas Tallest Water Slide. Essentially they've redone their entire Water Park, so in short answer, yes, we are going. Probably in May, if you want to tag along.

Deep Water Dive is pretty cool. 3 seconds later you're free falling, and I have found myself dreaming about it sometimes. I initially assumed I wouldn't like the waterpark expansion just because it replaced a roller coaster but it's pleasantly surprising. That waterslide, the blue one below it, and the faster lazy river are my favorite things about it. The only thing I dislike is the stairs, tho if I weighed anywhere near 300 lbs I might eventually have them to thank if I decided to go up and down them for exercise.
Thunderbird is going to be a blast (literally and figuratively).
