We had bout 8 inches Monday, but by Friday it was all gone.

How come the one year I live in San Diego we get the most rain in a long time, and now a year later they get snow? Thats so not fair.

no snow in LA, snow level was down to about 1,200 feet elevation, heard some of the high areas of the valley ( barely peaking 1,000 feet elevation ) got some flurries but down in the hood, no snow, at least not any natural [lol]

Its definately cold. In fact the storm we just had was mainly just a snow storm. Didn't get much in the way of rain. Got some hail, though. If I was in higher elevation (like parts of LA) I'd suspect we would have recieved snow, too.

It's been snowing here on and off for a couple of weeks now, it snows for a little while and just when snow is starting to build up on the ground, it stops snowing, then when there is no snow remaining on the ground, it starts to snow again. Bit crappy, it is lovely and cold though [:D]

i went to mountain high (snowboardning) yesterday and it was snowing the whole time. they were also making snow while it was snowing which really sucks cuz i didn't have a face mask so it hurt if i went too fast down the slopes. why do they blow snow when its snowing? there was about a foot and a half of snow that fell yewsterday and they still blew snow. wtf is up with that? it was also 28 or so degrees (f) there.

They need as much snow as they can get, so they use the snowblowing and the actuall snowfall itself to their advantage.
