It doesn't mean you can throw your ride in our faces. You have to learn that everyone here makes NL2 coasters, and we respect that. We don't need someone to throw their rides in our faces for the sake of it being better than what a park announced.

I also told you not to get worked up because it won't be big. Here we are now, you being butthurt because you were wrong - yet again. You need to learn that not every park has the budgets of a six flags or a USO. It's what they could afford now and it's a great addition to the park. You have never even ridden one from what I know, and your basing your judgements off absolutely nothing. Just because there are 5 of them in the world doesn't make them bad.

Why? I can't wait to experience that unsupported heartline roll and feel as if I am going to fall out.

Also if you go on the facebok page almost everyone is cheering and they are all excited for this new ride. The GP already love it and I'm sure that's what the park wanted.

I think the reason I got so excited about this is because I was looking for something worth wild to go up there on a trip that's why I pumped it to much

Yes because one of the best wooden rollercoasters in the world (Voted #1 for the past two years over El Toro) is totally not a reason to go to this park right?

I think Boulder Dash, and Wicked Cyclone alone are good reasons to make a trip up there... Let's not forget Bizzaro, one of the higher rated steel coasters, and Quassy is near by too with Wooden Warrior.
Anyway I like these coasters in general, and its perfect for a small park like Lake Compounce. This will be the only model within driving range of me so I'm quite happy, and just one more reason to have moved my mini road trip to next year.

Deere, hyping up announcements without even knowing what's going to be build usually leads to major disappointments.
And about your judgment of this type of ride: Go and ride one of them first. It's the same as saying that a top 10 roller coaster sucks, when you haven't even ridden it.

Just because they are clones does not mean they are a bad ride.

Some SLC and boomerang riders would like to have a word with you.

Fun aside, I do agree on your statement. I've ridden one of these and it was extremely fun, yet extremely short.
I'm curious if this one is going to receive the dual load system like in Mexico. It would increase capacity by a whole lot. :)

Deere, honestly. Why don't you hold your opinions completely until riding one yourself. Sure they may be a few of them around already, but you really can't judge a coaster over how many of them there are. Ride one first and then tell me what you think.

Reason for this being is, people who have actually ridden them say a whole lot of good things compared to those who don't. We'll just have to see when the time comes.

Have you ridden one of these rides? No? Don't judge these than as terrible coasters because they are not.

I don't think it'll be a dual-load, I don't see a capacity issue at a smaller park like LC that would require it. Wish the nearest one wasn't still hundreds of miles away though, Skyrocket is fun but Tempesto definitely beats it on my list!

I was happy when Deere said he could get the hang of Newton2 in another thread. Arguments end up ruining that good feeling.

@Dirk_Ermen: I kind of feel guilty because I spoiled the "top secret" information of Karnan's Backdrop prepared as an awesome surprise. ;)

Hey you took our Enterprise you greedy pig! I'm gonna steal it back one day!

And yes the park has confirmed that it will have lap bars only.

Go ahead! Take Volcano and we'll get one of those new Enterprises to replace it 8-)

Yeah, Hershey is a good 4 hours away from here without traffic! LC would be a good day's drive

Lol I like the old Enterprises better because of the carts. The absence of seatbelts makes the ride even more fun and terrifying.

And it looks like Volcano won't be getting replaced with the new one either because Kennywood took ours to use for spare parts. Poor enterprise

It wasn't that big of a draw though so I guess the cost of operating wasn't worth it in the end. Still sucks to see a classic like this go.

You're forgiven. ;) It's not like the internet would have kept that gimmick a secret for very long. When the ride opened on media day I already read "What happens in the tower, stays in the tower" kind of spoilers from friends.

These rides are the new Boomerang. Most small and mid range parks will have one at some point. Not a bad thing as these rides are smooth and fun.

LC guests are in for a treat.

Unfortunately it was the golden tickets. Even on the MH poll, BD is always in the top 3 with Toro and Voyage

Ok, so LC is getting their first steel coaster since Boomerang opened last millennium. Good for them. As i am not a fan of this coaster model for large parks such as BGE and SFDK, primarily due to capacity issues, it's nice to see smaller parks get larger coasters. And if i am not mistaken, this will be the tallest structure in the park, and be a huge draw for gp and enthusiasts alike. Kudos to LC for giving us all something to talk about.

Better than pretty much all other shuttle coasters occupying a similar footprint.

10000000x better than a Boomerang... what's the problem here? A medium sized, intense coaster is a perfect fit for a rather small park like LC
