Don't make a hard hat topic unless you're ready for some constructive criticism. Period.

i would like constructive criticism but the problem is that when people start complaining about brakes it seems a little pathetic is all, sorry guys.

anyway! xpress could you edit the track and put in the airtime hill to show me what you mean, and by the i am lets just say terrible at AHG, i have generally been a handbuilder and do not understand the formulas and such, perhaps someone would like to AHG for me? after i fully debump of course

here is the track with some of your ideas taken into effect:
http://ridehost.com/uploads/0_light_speed.nltrack

i have some ideas of 3ds which i am constructing in OC but i don't want to fit them to the trackjust yet as i am still smoothing and perhaps heartlining. keep coming with the ideas guys, sorry about yelling at ya, had a bad day is all.

I would suggest that brakes are a fairly important part of a coaster, Hactually! Probably a lot more so than any of the turns, banking, inversions, etc.

i will grant you that. but the ones i have hold the coaster and stopp don't they?

edit: i tried to AHG it but i don't understand it, even with the 50 gajillion tutorials there are for it, so it probably will not get AHGed unless someone does it for me, 1500 points if you wanna do it for me. that's if i do not get robbed [:P]

thanks.

that was mean [:(] i now have a bout 200 points left [:(]

anyway, i have given the ride an overhaul, the zero G roll has been giving me issues, so i deleted the roll, reshaped it via a preset element then took it from there, the Gs have been sorted but it's still a bit weirdly taken, update later!

Speaking of AHG tutorials, Oscar where did mine go?

And your vertical Gs are entirely too extreme. On a stand up I would never go above 3.7 or below -.6

thanks gouldy! i was going to ask if 4.3 Gs were acceptable, or -1.2, but guess that's a problem, i'm gonna have to reshape if it's an issue, of course i could just be lazy and change the track type, on which track type would those Gs be acceptable, by the way i have put the latest track on the NLDC page if ya didn't check, thanks for your interest guys!

Uhh wow, this is the first time I've looked at the topic, and I have to say, if you do that right, it will be VERY cool. It just instantly hit me as awesome; I really like that layout. Looking forward to it.

Looking good, although I've never been a fan of that ground texture, it just looks very unrealistic. Support color is good IMO.

great, i was worried about the support colour btw, and do you think i should change the ground texture then, and make it look more cliffy, a bit like nemesis?
