Lights out for LA

That cant be good...not 2 hours before rush hour.

And because there are so many people in LA. It makes it even worse.

Pfft, thats nothing compared the Eastern blackout that happened over here a few years ago....

^Yah that one was really bad. It always sucks when its hot and there's a blackout becuase there is no air conditioning.

I was included in part of that blackout in August.

Air conditioning was the least of my worries during that big blackout

well what was your biggest worry ehh?

Ya I was in that blackout to and I actually found it awesome because everyone on my street had a party all night and everyone was having fires in there backyard

On CBS they said it was possibly terrorist related. Is it just me or does that not make sense at all?

Food, gas for car, finding clean water to drink, trying not to get hurt in any way as not even 911 was workin, etc etc

I remember when the big eastern power outage occured...I was sitting in this nice seafood place on the cooper river watching the news in SC they had the best crablegs...

LA, actually most of California for that matter, has been experiencing rolling blackouts for years -- so in short, this is not really front page news. If anything, it takes some of the focus off of the hurricane after-effects -- sort of serving as a brief intermission if you need a catch-phrase for it.

I didn't believe it, it sounded like something they would say to scare people that do believe everything on tv. It doesn't even make sense, like I said before.

piff, it made traffic easy for me, most of the streets I roll through are empty so I juust rolled on through the lights and no it was not a rolling blackout, rolling blackouts are planned and affect a specific area not sections this big [:)]

Of course I was speculating on the cause but I knew it was not terrorists -- reports this morning show it was nothing more than human error.
