Here's another new park under construction for China in 2017. Looks like so far this park will have an Intamin megalite that is pretty much done, knockoff mine train, and a weird knockoff launch coaster with a dark ride portion.

I have no idea what the goal is there.

However it may be sort of fun to feel wobbly on a coaster compared to jerky moments! :)

I have the feeling the black coaster will be something with 3d. That indoor part with the rail on the ground kinda looks like a way to mount a big curtain to project on.

Looks like the park's name was changed to Visionland. Construction continues.

Wow, they are really going fast with some of the theming! Definitely no Six Flags kind of park.

Yeah this transition alone is better than anything B&M has done in the past 10 years.

S&S has been doing weird poop like that lately and it seems to be working for them. compression from a telephoto lens can make things like that look worse than they are too.

^ You may feel that Zierer's kiddie tracks sort of look awkward in POVs, but in fact, they are beautifully created IRL! I also need to say that most of them are smooth.

Transitions that give me food for thought. :D

I wonder if part of the formula for these parks is that they figure people will come for the good rides, and then stay to ride the others because they might as well anyway haha. Just a thought. Anyway, some of the theming looks cool and I'm curious to see what the final layout on the black coaster is.

So they're theming the horrid black thing and the watersplash thing, but they paint the mega-lite like it has already been baking in the Nevada sun for 2 years and then don't theme it. Nice.

Yes, theme the knockoff mine train and leave the one actually good ride completely barren...
Ok but how desperate you have to be to voluntarily fly from another country to go to Thorpe?

Haven't ever seen an Aboriginal (?) themed mine train ever lol. Should be interesting.

I'm wondering if they tried to steal the crappy dueling coaster design in Ferrariland, and that's why the curves are randomly lacking banking while they use cars as ride vehicles.

I don't think it's crappy. I love the way it has proper laterals like you're actually taking turns with a race car.

This should be an interesting ride, I like the way the theming looks so far!

Looks like they were going for a ride like Test Track. Still looks pretty hideous.
