Hey everybody, in a small sideproject form Troy (yes, custom supporting a GCI is boring) i'm making a dark colored temple complex. But because the textures are dark, at some angles they can be seen, they're just black, and following the hallways in pitch-black isn't what i intended.

So, do you know/have or do you know a bright enviroment with a lot of light or very few shadows?

that has to do with the material settings of the 3DS. There's ambient,specular and diffuse color. In your case you want them all to be rather bright.
If you take a look at Megablast, you will see the effect. Allthough there's a bright (yet invisible) sun which makes the supports and track glow, the houses fit with the dark environment.

No, OC doesn't let you do that. But anim8or can do it for example.
