Hi, does anyone out there like Lord of the Ring.
My fav character is Frodo the hobbit. He's cool
cuz' he gets to be in charge of the One Ring that
rules all that he has to destroy in Mt. Doom[8D]

I'm a BIG fan. I like Mary and Pippin caus' they're funny and are allways getting inot trouble that they easily get out of. Can't wait until the 3rd movie comes out, I especially want to see the HUGE batlle for middle earth(I think thats what it's called).

Well, I saw LOTR 2 I forgot the extension for the name last sunday. It's just not the kinda movie that I like. Only the big fight at the end was pretty cool to watch but that's about it.

I think it is very cool. I saw it when I found out the movie I wanted to see was sold out and I had no idea it would be 3hrs and the trailer did not look that good( I mean in someone who has never heard of it, it seemed to be a low budget film) but it turned out to be awsome. I think it is better then the book, the book was to long in explination. I seen the movie 6 times and can't wait for the 2nd on dvd and the third in theathers

The books were great, the movies were even better. I've seen both, Lord of the Rings: Fellowship and Lord of the Rings: Two Towers, both movies were outstanding, yea the acting could of been better for a couple of the actors, but the screen effects, the story line and everything else is what made this movie(s) great.

But this realy isn't a movie for everyone, it sort of requries a certen 'taste' or 'liking', and it takes some understanding of the books and the story behind the author.

Mind you, like the books, there's 3 parts to Lord of the Rings. There's Fellowship of the Ring(came out Dec. 2001), then Two Towers(came out Dec. 2002), and Return of the King(due out Dec. 2003). You have to watch the first to understand the second one and so on. If you don't, you won't enjoy the movie(s).

I'm looking forward to watching Return of the King this dec., I heard it's the best one out of the three, and has more battle sences, ;)

BTW, my favorite actor in the movie is Gandaf.
