it was produced in the late 80's, a very classic peice of equipment.. the best thing is that , unlike new crap, it's value goes up each year..

since it was built in 1987 , and is a sampler, not a synthe sizer it will make no noise when it's turned on UNLESS you start it with the operating system floppy in the drive, and then load sounds into it..
so even though i knew it was operating like it should, no sounds came from it and i say"hmm... well it's still kind of neat looking, maybe i can use some the parts for something else"..when i DO find an analog synth at a pawn shop or simular place i always make sure i have the noise fader cranked up and the resonace at full blast so that when i "test" it it makes horrible noises or none at all, then usually the price goes waaaay down and i go home with nice stuff.. thats how i got my polysix. as far as i know this only works with synths and drum machines.. the same people will want 500 bucks for a guitar thats worth 10, like right now at the place i scored my juno 60 for 200 there has been an old (and kind of cool) casio combo organ that isn't worht 20 bucks but when they turn it on and select an instrument it makes the preset sound so they think.. "oooh it works, it's a trumpet sound, and it has wood pann eling" it's been there for 4 months, because they started at 250 (lol) and now their down to 100, and noone will touch it.. however i think i will play a mean joke on the ebay hawk i've spotted in there and drool over it while he's watching, and when he asks if it's a good one i'll say "hell yeah that thing is rare as hell, that's a bargain at 4 times that but i dont have the money.. " twice i've had that I Love You!er following me around in there, knowing that i'm a collector and not a dealer...anything i seem interested in that looks old he snatches up as soon as i walk away from it i watched him pay a dollar each for some frisbees that looked "retro" but werent worth 25 cents.. good times.. good times.. ..

harsh man, very harsh, but i'm glad you got what you wanted for a cheap-ass price
Cradled by two loving arms that I'd die for,
One little kiss and Felina goodbye.
