Pot is more useful than a kettle.

Cheetah Hunt is fun, but by no means a "great" ride. To be honest, I thought it was pretty mediocre considering what could have been done with it. Manta looks like a fun (but again, not great) ride too, but I think it's just about as good as anyone could hope for given the constraints. Thus, I would say that this blows Cheetah Hunt out of the water in terms of awesomeness per square foot.

i have a coworker who might get a summer job at sea world, so ifi get to go for free i'll do it.. it doesn't look all that interesting "to me", but it is impressive that they built it at all considering how much B.S. seaworld had to go through to build something that even rhymes with "roller coaster". and i think it's a PERFECT ride for sea world .

Took it. Great deal of airtime and definitely more thrilling than the POVs suggest (in that I could actually see the landscape around it). Above all, the pre-launch show was pretty well done, the launched-floorless feeling was great, and the turns were somewhat abrupt.

Best family coaster of all time.

This looks bad ass. Cheeta hunt looks ehh. Bigger does not mean better. I would like to use Leviathan as exhibit A. I think i've only heard mediocre things about it.

And then there's millennium force, steel dragon, KK/TTD, SOB, and really even Beast.

Rode it on opening day, it's really cool, low to the ground, no boring sections to it. You get 5 spots of airtime, and lots of interaction with theming and landscape.

I guess the problems I have with Cheetah Hunt are the first launch into the stupid fan curve and then the figure-8 thing. The rest of the layout looks fun, but Cheetah Hunt doesn't have the Intamin transitions, it's all drawn out, where as this has those types of transitions, forces, more comfortable trains, AND it's just fun! IMO

Just makes you want to Scream!, doesn't it?

[lol] Everyone here is so so so critical... but I love it.
I can't say this looks better than Cheetah Hunt, just because Cheetah Hunt has the huge steep drop and the airhill right after the last launch, but then again I've never been on either of them.

To put it in perspective, I would have said that Montu and Raptor look better than either of the Dueling Dragons, but the Dueling Dragons were both better than either Montu or Raptor... so that's that.

Dragon Challenge no longer duels, and takes even longer to load now. The only side worth riding is the red side and that's only the second immelmann I care about.

Raptor and Montu are much better rides overall than Dragon Challenge in terms of full-ride experience.
Oh, were you expecting something here?

Not too sure about that... All those plastic installments and slimming redesigns kinda ruin the original charm, you know?
