i got a great idea.. lets make the track out of steel pipe, and lock the wheels of the cars under above and on the inside. make the cars out of something light like fiberglass,and even put a loop in it for kicks. and then it can be launched any way one sees fit .. i ought to patent that .

And give it Boulder Dash or Voyage's layout and everyone but the superficial few will love it because it is a good ride.

I got a better idea. Make a shuttle loop using only steel drilling pipe, 50 gallon drums, some steel cable, pulleys and a dumpster full of concrete.

Hmmmmm... how ideal... I might attempt that!
