^ possibly. I find it odd how there are no numbers on the supports at all. Of course I also find it highly unlikely that CP would spend the money just to through a bunch of people off.
I also still believe CP will pull some more things out of hat before the year is through. I think the real surprise is yet to come...

It was under trap and think about it Dragsters track was sitting outside Mean Streak for a while.

this made me lol

well... Its def an intamin... but they already have a giga and a rocket... so looper? its easy to fit loopers in to slightly smaller spaces... and Cp doesn't exactly have fields of open space... but its kinda hard to tell atm... I also kinda doubt that it would be an aqua trax... if you look at those 2 jurney to atlantis or whatever those 2 aquatrax's are, they're pretty heavally themed, I don't think CP would make a ride that themed...

I haven't seen the support pics yet, but is there any chance that this is inverted?? that'd be pretty cool considering theres like only 3 intamin inverts (besides those impulse thingys)

^ there is only 1 aquatrax. The 2 journey to Atlantis's were manufactured by Mac.

I doubt it, unless it's some sort of hyper-inverted. Most of the track has a positive radius, which means positive G's on regular coasters, and airtime on inverted ones.

And these don't look very much like inverted supports to me.

Should work now.

There is no way this is an inverted coaster. It is most likely a wing walker, but those helix supports Jimmy linked to show it is an above track coaster for sure.

That definately looks like a lift or tall hill support top. I can't find anything on RCDB to support this, but that is what it looks like IMO.

judging by the track segments on pointbuzz.com, i doubt it's inverted and i dont think it'll be that big either. i really dont know where you guys are getting that it'll be inverted or record-breaking.

Inverted, No.
Record Breaking, Yes.

Which records?
# of Inversions
Track length
tallest inversion
possibly speed w/ LSM or LIM

just what I think.

Dude, it cant break track length. Do you remember the longest track? Steel Dragon at 8133ft!! I dont think track length will be an issue. Not even with 2 different parts to the ride like rumored. Seriously, thats like 2 Mantis's put together - and it still comes up short.

judging by the track segments in the pics, i doubt it'll break the inversion record either. perhaps CP wont break a record this time and will just build a really GOOD ride?

The piece on the far left ... corkscrew anyone? And I want to say that the other twisted pieces are either quick transitions or possibly small segments of a an in-line twist .... hmm I still say they are going for the most inversions.

I think it will be somthing simular to colossus, With maybe a few more inversions so they can have the record...

and i dissagree with track length record... Theres no way anythings gonna beat steeldragon2000 anytime soon (they should re-open that)...

Actually, a few of the signs point to either a 4-D or a wing walker. "We're putting two and two together" sounds like the seats..."ya'll up for soms serious sidewindin'?" sounds like one of them..."We're going in a whole new direction" dont think cp has a 4d or a wing walker...

But who knows, hopefully they'll announce it soon.

judging from the supports, the track will be very low to the water, banked, so one side of the trains would be in the water...

as for a 4d, the intamin-ball-coaster, i've only seen it with vertical layout's like the screaming squirrel, and because the 'balls' have a free spin, there might be some high G's you can't controll,

my money is still on a (lauched) looper

"We're putting two and two together"

That sign supports WWS's theory that it could be a dueler/racer. Hmmm... Maybe!

It will be announced in August. I remember hearing that somewhere, but I can't remember specifically where.
