Maverick Recreation

Well, it all started in the chat. I mentioned something about this site needing a decent Maverick recreation. Then something was said about me doing it. So yesterday evening I put upon me the task of making a re-creation of Maverick. The track up to the launch has been built, but it is still somewhat a rough copy. I have spent, oh I don't know, maybe a little over half a day on this. About 9 hours I suppose. Here is what I have so far:

Also if you have information that is hard to come by about the ride, I would love to have it. By the way, I will donate 1000 points to anyone who does the 3Ds for the ride, as well as half the amount of any award this ride may win. I will of course as well mention you on the track info.

I'll consider doing 3ds/environmental/terrain work if no one who can do top-notch work is willing to. (My main incentive is to see and participate in a good Maverick recreation, not for the points.) The main problem is that I have some side projects going on so I can't make any guarantees at the moment.

I do apologize for the half-assed "maybe" answer, but I don't want to make promises I can't keep, especially considering how many tracks I never finished.

I am going to Cedar Point tomorrow (well technically today) though, so I could definitely help by testing out the track.

you got all that done in one day? I would take it slower, people want a really good recreation of maverick, and half the layout is done in one day...? Idk, seems too rushed.

its really not that much. that section of track is far from finished.

Hmmm... Maverick IMO is probably one of the most difficult coasters to recreate. So far, things look reasonably good. Sorry, I don't have any skill with 3ds but I encourage you to take your time with recreating this coaster. Especially being that the coaster your recreating is fairly complex. I won't be able to really judge the track until there are some closer views but until then, good luck!

I plan on spending a while on it. It most likely won't be uploaded until later on this year.
