Has any of you been following the news of this? Specifically speaking what happened in McArthur Park here in Los Angeles? Do you think it was justified for the police to violate the constitutional rights of the media to cover the thing? I mean pushing the media people around. Grabbing their cameras and throwing them around on the floor, kicking a media person, grabbing a media lady and swinging her around from the arm. Shooting rubber bullets at a media person while she was running to her news van, which luckily struck the van and not her. What do you guys think about all this crap that went on in the May Day Protests around the country and the events that unfolded in McArthur park?

Why the police hostilities? Was it a festival to honor Rodney King?

I saw this on CNN a few days ago. What those cops did was over excessive IMO. There are other ways to make a crowd move rather then attacking and damaging/destroying media equipment.
