Well looking at the Weekly medal awards and noticing that most RCT2 tracks and Scream Machine tracks almost always recieve a medal, due to the fact that on average only 5 or less tracks are uploaded. So for example look here:
http://www.coastercrazy.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=5082
And look at this particular area, RCT2:
Gold: Omega Sentry - GRIM - 8.58
Silver: The Loch Ness - RensOwen2 - 7.33
Bronze: Patiot - loopier2001 - 4.08
Notice that the bronze medal went to Patriot (spelled incorrectly as Patiot), which obtained an average rating of 4.08. I think that this is unfair, because I could buy one of the less popular coaster sims and make crappy tracks with lets say an average rating of 4, and upload them and recieve a medal equal to a No Limits coaster track with a rating of 8.3. Bottom line I think that you should only be eligibable for a medal if your coaster has a minimum rating of 7 or another mininuim decided by the staff. This way those who slave over making tracks for like 40 hours, will not be compared to those who spent 10 seconds on a **** track. Just a concern that could be taken into consideration.
