Hello Everyone,

My family and I just got back from Timbersfest at Michigan?????????s Adventure. It was a really good time. The park was fairly empty on Friday but got a bit crowded on Saturday. There was only 1 bad part to the whole thing...an IDIOT (a.k.a. ASSHOLE) on Friday put his child over the railing at the Mad Mouse ride to get a baseball hat that had fallen off of another rider. Our car had just got back to the station when the ride attendant quick shutdown the ride when she saw what the IDIOT was doing. Kudos to her for catching it quickly. We were stuck on the ride for about 1/2 hour. Maintenance arrived first. One of the ride operators tried to keep the IDIOT there until security got there but was not able to. I asked the park manager and owner (during Shivering Timbers ERT) if they caught the IDIOT and they said that security continued to look for the IDIOT all day but did not catch him. I can not believe someone could be so stupid as to endanger their child?????????s life for a stinking hat.

Now onto better things?????????ERT!!!

We had ERT on Friday night on Shivering Timbers from 8pm to 10:30pm and about an hour on Wolverine Wildcat. Unlike most Cedar Fair parks they let you stay in your seat if no one else was in line. The ERT on the wild cat was the best. My nice and I rode it 16 times in a row. The best was the ride attendant overshot the station breaks one time and gave the riders a second ride. Well all of us in the station said hey, what about us! So the ride attendant ended up giving double rides for the rest of the ERT session. After the Wildcat was closed for the evening we headed over to Shivering Timbers to finish out the night. Man was it running really good that night. They also let you stay in your seat if no one else was waiting for it. We got several multiple rides that night.

We also got ERT on Shivering Timbers again Saturday morning for 1 hour before the park opened to the GP. It was another good time although it was not running as fast as the night before but it was still good.

All in all it was a very good time and I would recommend going there if you get the chance. It is a very small park with good coasters.

List of Coasters:
Shivering Timbers (Out and Back woody)
Wolverine Wildcat (Twisted Woody)
Zach?????????s Zoomer (Jr. Woody)
Corkscrew (Std Arrow corkscrew)
Mad Mouse (Arrow wild mouse)
Big Dipper (Jr. Steel coaster)
If you are going to make a scene, be seen.

Yea, Michigan's Adventure is a really fun park to go to. I myself have been there many times and the rides there are very good. Especially Shivering Timbors and Wolvorine Wildcat. For the parks size, its great! But for the IDIOT you were talking about, that's a shame that some people have to do things like that. I dont understand some people these days.

ERT = Exclusive Ride Time

To answer your question:
I get to go to so many theme parks because I have a good paying job with a fair amount of vacation time. My family and I love amusement parks and try to go to 1 or 2 new parks every year. We all have season passes to Cedar Point, Six Flags and Kings Island. My family and I are ACE members (American Coaster Enthusiast) and we get information from the club on what parks are having events and try to schedule vacations accordingly.

This year's new park is Dollywood. Next year, if my niece is 54" tall we are planning a visit to California to visit as many parks as possible.
