Modify terrain without making a water puddle?

Does anyone know how to disable the water in the terrain editor? I just want to dig without it filling up with water.

A tad off the topic, but I like how water reflection works in NL2! Anyone please help him. :)

I'd recommend raising the whole ride and the terrain a good 15ft or so so that it's above the water height.
