The lap bar is supposed to due that, it's on a ratchet system. And yep the bar is not necessary, on my last ride i had a good few inches between me and it and the seatbelt was broken(It wouldn't lock in place, rendering it completely useless). The whole ride I was still firmly planted in my seat.

I have a hard time believing this.

If you're really skinny the lapbars on that ride won't go down all the way. I have a good 2-3 inches between me and the bar on it. The ride has zero air, you really don't need the bar.

Yeah I don't have a hard time believing 2-3 inches haha. 12 inches is where I call shenanigans.

I'm not that negitive, so I don't really look into the bad of a coaster as much as the good.
That being said, Mean Streak was the most disappointing coaster I've been on.
Looks massive, but it was slow, no airtime, and just felt like it had the brakes on the whole time.....
I was expecting ALOT more.

Cheetah Hunt was designed as a family coaster...

Cheetah Hunt was alright, wasnt as good as everyone boasted for it to be. As for most disappointing coaster: Goliath at Six Flags New England. It was really fun until they decided to change the trains, then it turned into the most painfully rough coaster i've ever ridden.

Rita at Alton Towers. The launch was powerful but not nearly as much as I expected. Because of the OTS restraints the airtime wasn't as free as it could have been and in general I felt a little disappointed at the end. It was still good, but not as good as it's made out to be.

I'm genuinely worried that people rated Rita in the first place to be disappointed by...

Unpopular Opinion alert:

Intimidator 305

Dear lord, Its too intense for me. I like a good thrilling coaster that I can enjoy beginning to end, not a coaster that causes me to Blackout, almost gave me whiplash at my error, and say 3 Hail Marys before the end of the circuit.

Tennessee Tornado would be a close second. Too short. It's one of the better Arrows though
Diamondback is Diamonbae.

I kinda agree with you on that one. When I was riding it I heard so many stories of being too intense and blackout stuff. (Probably thanks to you guys  ) But after riding I found it pretty boring. A coaster only made out of low to the ground turns, with a few quick transitions in between, wasn't a fun coaster to me. I'd like a coaster that does more than only turns and a few mediocre hills.

Did a few laps to see if it made any difference for me. Nope...

I died reading this.
I305 is the most (smooth) intense ever, and that's why I love it.

MF is better cause I think you get more sense of speed. (I305 is the same, but the intensity overtakes the "speed" feeling).
