I don't like Steel Force's drop too much because it starts curving when already going down at like -20*, then hits that flat real soon after so there isn't a long period of airtime. The retracting seatbelts don't help either. Then, in the front, you can't hardly see over the hood (and I'm tall) so the drop there is even worse than it would be otherwise.
Mean Streak's drop is lame, as is Texas Giant's, which is almost the same with the trims, just a lil shorter with a curve at the top.
Kyle, you don't actually float on SROS' flat section. There's about .3 g's there, meaning you'll be touching the seat soon after the track straightens out. It's an alright drop, better than some its size but no, not up to potential. Dive machines, on the other hand, are different...their drops are around 90*, so a straight section would mean you'd be floating, as opposed to the normal force you experience at 71* on SROS. Also, I don't think Dive Machines ever actually straighten out completely, which makes sense since it's falling on close to a parabolic trajectory.
I know it isnt quite floating but it sure feels cool anyways. You have to go on it a couple times before recognizing how good it is. at first a didnt give a crap about its first drop.
