Lol, I've just been on a bunch of "mediocre" coasters that aren't overrated or underrated. Northern California has nothing in terms of coasters. We have, literally, no airtime up here (minus Drop Zone @ CGA, but w/e).
So, my friend came up to me the other day and asked if I wanted a frozen banana, and I said no, but I want a normal banana later, so... yea.

Yeah I rode American Eagle once forward and once backwards, both "front" row, and it was really good between the end of the first drop and the start of the helix, but the rest was pretty lame. Bumpy and slow with low forces and the most pointless ending ever.

How is Kraken overrated? If I'm not mistaken, it's the only B&M floorless to feature a loop after the MCB, and not to mention the finale (low ground turn, rediculous flatspin...). Personally, the dive loop on Kraken is one of the best I've been on. The elongated lead in, into a snappy roll... Idk wtf your talking about.

I just find Most B&Ms boring.

Vertical G's and Inversions are overrated in my opinion.

Kingda Ka or X(2). both rides aren't worth riding compared to anything else at their respective parks

X2? Are you retarded? I have never been on ANY ride like it! The experience of the first drop is enough to classify as one-of-a-kind!
Oh, were you expecting something here?

^Agreed. X2 is in my top 3 because of that drop. Just unreal. Don't forget the flying snake dives. Those are pure awesomeness.

the only part of X2 that was really awesome was the drop. i just don't think it's really worth the wait after you've ridden it once or twice.

That's why the only times I ride it during the year are at WCB and other ERT Events [;)]

I had heard a lot of great things about American Eagle, but I found it to be a rough and rather uninteresting ride. I wouldn't call it a truly bad coaster, but it just didn't do anything for me.

The Beast. I really do like it but IMO it doesn't really do much of anything special aside from the memorable helix and having the wooden coaster length record. I almost feel like riding at night might as well count as a different credit.
I like the Voyage better.

GP: Bizarro SFNE, Its a great ride.. But its not the best, alot of the airtime gets ruined by the lapbar that crushes your legs.. And the fact that it just isn't as great as people claim it to be.. Plus alot of features on the ride are heavily dysfunctional.

CE: The Smiler, Never been on it. But it doesn't even look that great. Sure its fun and has you flipping left and right, plus the scenery. But it's a eurofighter, the ride has too be rough as hell by now, Lines for it are probably atrocious and I think it's one of those rides that will get you sick by the time it's over.

GP: Comet at Hershey, what the hell is it with this ride. It's old, it sucks, move on.

CE: Thighcrush, I mean Skyrush at Hershey. People say it is better than I305, it is not. It's not even close. And those restraints are a killer.

I rode Smiler end of last season - and whilst I agree its overated by a lot of (fanboys) people its still a very solid ride. There are a couple of nasty bumps but overall it isn't too rough to be honest. Lines are as about the same as for any new ride at Alton Towers so really hard to judge its capacity to be honest. Plus the layout is properly good. And technically its an Infinity Coaster but I get where you're coming from :P

Comet is the only coaster I've never ridden there because of pointless huge lines. I disagree with sky rush though. I've not ridden I305 so I cant make that comparison, I can say its one of the best coasters in PA though, which when you think about it is quite a bit
What are these for?

Best coaster in PA? Sure, I'll give you that. Not better than I305 though.

Yeah I know a lot of people prefer I305, but I'd take Skyrush...Yes the restraints aren't great, they're annoying after the first ride and a bit painful particularly waiting on the brakerun for subsequent rides, but as a 6'3" guy I take Skyrush's restraints over I305 anyday. I305's push down pretty hard on your collarbone for people around and over 6' tall, and to me that's more uncomfortable. Also, while I305 is almost unbelievable for the first 2/3, it skews a bit more toward intense rather than fun, whereas Skyrush I think rides the line pretty perfectly so I can enjoy the whole thing. They both die down a bit at the end, Skyrush a bit later in the ride from all the friction and wind resistance, I305 from those trims, but I think Skyrush is more my style with way more effective airtime and just the right amount (duration and force) of positives.

Both rides are incredible though, it's just too bad there are what I'd consider silly little issues between restraints, forces, and ending speed that take away from the experience. To me that happens often with Intamin...they make an awesome ride, then do something dumb to keep it from being "perfect." lol Still easily my favorite manufacturer.

Magnum XL-200. Even though it's a great ride and in my personal top ten, the airtime was not as amazing as everyone made it out to be.

Lightning Racer. It did nothing, and I'd prefer it to just be the Whizzer.

New Texas Giant. It was great. But overrated is the perfect word to describe it.

I haven't been on most of these, but whatever.

-Diamondback. People universally praise this ride and say it's the best B&M hyper, but it's nowhere near that. The layout is rather similar to Nitro's (not really a bad thing) but the way it executes the elements is "meh". Plus, it has a pointless splashdown, nowhere near any people/paths. Is it a great hyper? Yes. Is it the best? Not remotely.

-Kraken. Same principle as above. Great coaster, but not the best floorless at all. I don't see what makes it so much better than the other ones.

-Shambhala. I'm going to be boo'd for this, but I do think it's overrated. The layout is just so different than the other hypers and in my opinion, not in a good way. It's also kinda short compared to the others. It has a killer first drop but like Diamondback it's not the best one.

-New Texas Giant for the reasons stated above; great, but very overrated.

-Any of the Superman Ultimate Flight Clones. The only interesting part of the entire ride is the pretzel loop, which is very forceful. But other than that it's a mild, boring ride. It's forceless, even for a B&M (really enforcing that stereotype among us enthusiasts). The other flyers are so much better, and I'd trade this for Sky Scrapper any day. I like to call it "Superman: Forceless Flight" but the GP absolutely eats it up and the lines are always enormous.
