Since I got a bit tired of NL and my sucking computer I went back to the good old days and played a bit with RCT2,which was my first Rollercoaster Game, and started to design a huge terrain woodie with beautifull environment. It is inspired by KIs Beast and will feature at least one 98 ft high trestle bridge and much interaction with the surrounding,2 lifthills are planned(-->Beast).These were the facts so far here some pics:

The trestle bridge(yes I know the train looses speed on this, but when the coaster is finished it will look epic...[peakhill])

Okay, thats all so far,I hope you like what you have seen, comments are welcome![blah]

That's some pretty awesome RCT2 skill. Yo gave me that park but you can make stuff like this? Whoa. I've seen better on New Element but hell, this is awesome so far.

Nah,the custom objects are not by me,they're from RCT2 files from CC exchange,I selected in two hours the parts I need, and began to build,I don't remember the creators of the custom objects, but I'll mention them when I upload Mount Overlord.I plan to build a giant waterfall behind a lake which is located behind the trestle bridge. If someone would like to test just ask me and give me your mail,I'll send you the track as soon as possible(Its 23.33 now and I got school till evening tomorrow so you may have to wait).

Are you really shaping the terrain tile by tile? You can access the mountain tool by using a trainer, or do most of the heavy terrain work in the scenario editor first.

Yes,I do all by hand,I never heard bout this trainer, could you give me a link?I think I'll stay handbuilding since I have to change the terrain often for planned theming and so on...I think I'll build 2 storages,1 between the station and final brake and one between the MCBR and the second lift(don't ask me why,I dunno why,I just feel to make it,and yes,its unusual).

The ride's progress is coming along great only thing I worry is the fact that the exitement rating is about 12 plus the ride's lenght is about 2900m ATM and I haven't even reached the half of the ride length,so its something like a giga version of Beast.
I think I'll make a photoupdate later the day...
If someone wants to test?

Here is a photoupdate,I made some theming(I'm proud of the arch hill)and changed the layout,so the track is now 50% done.

Transfer, storage and brake before the second lifhill.

Thats all so far, always keep in mind that the things you see on pics might be changed and are not 100% finished.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:I take much time to make this coaster and I think it would be not worth it to upload if noone rates it(like mylast RCT2 upload)so I want 2 or more people who promise me to rate the coaster when I release it.This time I want to get the RCT2 Goldmedal [approve]!
Next update as soon as possible!

I'll work a bit on it and then I'll send it too you,I'm working on supporting and making the catwalks for the second lifhill(96m from the ground!),this thing is a scenery bitch!I designed a motor house for the second lifthill and a Park HQ/office.I'll build a bit of vegetation on the supports and buildings...lot work, you'll have to wait, but believe me,its worth itOnly thing I worry is the excitement rating and the forces(its almost impossible to create such a big coaster with realistic forces)
BTW will you rate it when I upload it?Remember,2 peoples or no upload!

Thx!Gaz agreed too...
Too all testers:Maybe I can not send you the track for so soon, school and other things are bitchin, sorry, but I'll try to send it as soon as possible.
Scenery work on this is fun but takes foreveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeer:
Yesterday it took me 4 hours to build a little roof/house on the top of the second lifthill, and I was not lazy, but if you're bored and have nothing better to do you can guess why it takes so long.

The trainer's called 8 Cars per Trainer (4 cars on RCT1) and can be found on Google. You can import height map BMP's with it and it's probably used for track/car switching. (i.e. using different cars on different tracks) I never used the track switching but there's tutorials around for that.

Interesting work so far. I'd probably never have the patience to sort through so much custom scenery to get a good set together for a good theme (main issue is RCT2's severe limits on how many objects can be used at once), and definitely would never do all of the terrain by hand. Since RCT terrain is fairly simple, a lot of work can be done with that mountain tool and you can also use big 7x7 terrain brushes/whatever. I think the trainer lets you go up to 50x50 or something, or maybe that was just RCT3. Of course, the mountain tool does glitch occassionally; thats when you have to start doing things by hand which is also safer since there's no undo. (Save often of course.)

Thanks, but I heard some things about the trainer,it let the computer crash often, and what do you mean with track/car switching?BTW I'm about to work on a interresting way of retrack...photos soon if you want them.BTW I got 2 questions:
Do you want to test?
Would you rate it?
