Hey Calvin, looking really nice! I don't like to build huge coasters in RCT2 myself because the shapes and pacing start looking unrealistic very quickly. That's also the reason I think I would not rate it. However, I'd love to check it out once finished, I like the bridge idea and the scenery. Keep it up.

Umm,yeah thanks Pad,thats nice. But I figured out that I forgot something to add,but when I'm tying to load the terrain with objects of MO in the Scenario Editor it gives me an error message...without the missing parts it would be a real loss.Maybe someone can help me?

Now the thing starts bitching, amount of problems increases:The coaster looses too much speed on the part after the second lifthill...even after I retarcked it,I'm afraid that it will not come out how I planned it...
I'll send the testers soon a working version of Mount Overlord, maybe you guys can help me then...

I think I gotta solution for the pacing problem:I'll split up the part after the lifhill in 2 pieces and insert a thrid lifthill(yes I know thats not that great but its the best solution, but now I can even build the coaster in a area that was empty before),the third lifthill will start next to the station.Since the two brakeruns(station and lifthill) are planned to be placed parralel,I'll make a transfer track between both,to allow to "cut" out the part of the third lifthill and the track after that.So i'll upload two versions of the ride, the standard which has the shorter curcuit, and the extended version which will contain the whole curcuit. The standard version will still contain the extended track but the train will not travel on it.
Now I hope everything fits in and now I need to figure out how to fix the problem with the things I need to add...

If you look at the edge of the first waterfall you'll see that there is something like a open space behind the waterfall.Thats the coaster,he travels behind the waterfall.I'm also very proud of the tunnel portals.

Okay now the final part for today:

I call this area Mosty Mountain. As you can see the coaster doesn't travels the all the rails.Lemme explain it:
When I began to build the coaster there it had this old layout ,but it destroyed the ride's pacing,so I decided to cut out the part, but not to remove it.I gave it a destroyed look, like if a accident happend or an attack of the Beast, generaly a bit rotten and abandonned.
Last pic for this update:

Since some persons asked me ,if I would add more rdes:
Probably yes,I f I can fit them in.The I'll make a pier with vintage flattrides and a lookout tower.

Okay that's all for now,I hope you liked it,comments and feedbacks from my testers are welcome!

It looks awesome. I like that your park has pretty much formed around that coaster. And the waterfalls look great. Reminds me of some of the epic coasters I used to make. I miss RCT2 so much.

...WAIT A SECOND...

Since when can you make waterfalls in RCT2? I don't remember that feature! (of course it has been practically 10 years since I've even seen the game...)

There is a waterfall object, just place it in front of the wall and then you make the wall look icy.Thats all.BTW thanks!

I wouldn't exactly call this a "Terrain Coaster". This one is all over the park, and does little with actually following the terrain. The long straghtaways are not something that coasters have much of. In real coasters, this would be boring. Hills and curves are what makes a coaster great. Use curved hills. It makes for a more exciting ride. Not just hills alone, or curves alone.

What a lot of RCT2 builders will do is create a track design, (with as little cross over & under elements as possible,) on flat terrain, then pull up the land around it, rather than design the landscape and try to fit a coaster into it. This gives you the best of both worlds, ultimate freedom in track design and not having to re-manipulate the land to accomidate some track elements.
