no, its not pop at all, its punk rock.
The poser punk bands like Blink 182 and Good Charlotte are kinda pop, but not Sum 41

Whoa wait, Punk Rock is like Black Flag, the Ramones, Bouncing Souls, etc. Thats real punk rock. To me Sum 41 sounds just like Blink 182, Good Charlotte, Simple Plan, etc.

nah, Sum 41 actually is hard, when Simple Plan and Good Charlotte and stuff just don't sound punk at all.

Sum 41, Blink 182, Good Charlotte, Simple Plan, AFI, Weezer, etc. are all pop. No, not even rock. They are basically just marketing an image, and are therefore identical to the boy bands.

Myself, I'm a metal fan, and while speed metal isn't my favorite sub-genre, it's the closest you have.

100% headbanger here! Metal rules! I'll listen to any form of Rock realy, expect for pop rock. I don't care for hard core rap, but I'll listen to some old school stuff and 'rock rap' type stuff/ Dance and Trance are kick a**. I use to listen to country, only because I was forced to by my ex-girl.

BTW, the new Mushroomhead CD kicks freakin' a**!!

Does anyone like Slipknot? They used to be my favorite band, now their just "pretty good" in my book. Their Iowa album was great though.

Yeah, why isn't Death Metal there? Anyone like Cephalic Carnage, Emperor, Zyklon, Nasum, Cryptopsy or Dillinger Escape Plan?
