Wow, reviving a 6-year old topic in order to tell me to not be ashamed of liking a group that I stopped listening to 4 years ago. Nice.

Nowadays, I guess I don't really have any more guilty musical pleasures. Some people might call me out for religiously listening to the soundtracks from animated films (I've become a huge Joe Hisaishi fan recently,) but I guess that doesn't even count because I'm not ashamed to admit it in the least.

^^^lol Any electronic music around here in Kentucky is pretty much considered "different". Other than Ghosts N' Stuff or "dead-maw-five? I've heard of them", people have no idea what it really consists of. They are hypnotized by our sh*tty local 96.9 station that plays pop on repeat 40x so you can literally have it playing in your head an hour later. I mean I like some pop, but please please do not play it like so:

*le dj plays song a
*le dj plays song b
*le dj plays song a again
*le dj plays song c
*le dj plays song a againagain
*le dj plops in "Weekly Top 40" CD from some other national station and hits "repeat all"
*le dj sleeps

You either have that or country on WKYQ. I mean I like SOME country...it's a rarity and it has to be the dance-y kind (which just so happens to never be played on WKYQ). But the "I'mmmm grabbin a beerrrrrr..... dew dew ... trucks-beer-horses-women-money ........." songs just suck. At least make it a ho-down, or it's just not worth listening to a stupid accent wail away about life on their completely oversized farm from all of the money they have.

As for the actual topic at hand, I guess I don't really have anything I'm ashamed to listen to (which I guess is a good thing lol). And Eurythmics isn't bad, don't diss 80's... <3
