Hello RCT2 people, a few days ago I reinstalled RCT2 onto my computer as I have really kinda had enough of no being able to use NL properly and RCT2 is the only thing that runs on my computer at a decent speed. Since I reinstalled it, I've been trying to create a good park, something which I've not tried before. Below, is a picture of one corner of ther park (the only part of the park that's anywhere near being finished) and I'd like you to just see what you think, see if there is anything in that bit of the park I should improve, or try to do differently when making the rest of the park. Any tips or things I might want to consider? Post them below [:)] thanks in advance.

[lol] WEll, the building looks nice, and from what I can see of the ride, that too looks nice, anything else done with it?

Well, I'll leave that bit of the park how it is for now then, I think I'll probably add a few more little details to it though. Next time I'm on the game, which will probably be tomorrow, I'll take some screenies of how the rest of the park is progressing and then see what you think of the rest of it as well. [:)]

I took a few more screenies of the other parts of the park that are also nearly finished:

I also just built a big river rapids ride next to that wooden coaster, I themed it all really nice and was just putting the last finishing touches to the themeing and my computer fecked up and all the colours went strange, then the screen just went black and I couldn't do anyhting, so I had to reboot and lost about 2 hours work. Hmmmph, guess I'll just have to do that whole ride again, I'll try and get it as close to being exactly the same as possible.

I think the park is starting to look a little bit samey with all the wood and stuff, but when I started out I had the idea that the whole park would be wooden cabin like structures. I think I may have to break up the monotony a little with a few more modern looking buildings or something, what do you think?

I'm thinking of adding another wooden coaster, a couple of kiddy coasters, a B&M Stand-up, a wicked twister style impulse coaster and then obviously a load of flat rides and things like that.

The park is called "Fairwood Green", I think it's a decent name so I will probably stick to it, unless someone suggest otherwise.

im hopeing thats a section of the park. And if it is make the buildings in the front very colinal and what not it looks good. As for you rides and themeing. The rides are good themeing is alright i mean it could be better but still nice though. Im not sure if your having different themes in your park but you should it looks better

Hiya Gouldy, your'e paths may be too narrow. If your'e going to attract thousands of guests to your park they may complain it's too crowded. Suggest widen all the pathways before you build more rides.. Your park is looking good otherwise.

Ok cool, cheers guys, next time I'm on it, I'll probably change a couple of things. This is the first time I've really tried to make a decent looking park and I'm learning new stuff all the time, I'm thinking of completely re-doing the entrance buildings now I'm a bit better, I don't have a screeny to show you them right now, but you'll see them when they're finished I guess [;)].

Anyone got anything else I might want to take on board?

Yeah like CoasterKarl said, you need to make the paths alot wider. I would make them around 4 blocks wide, maybe 5 for the main streets.

You also need a little more detail in your themeing. Ive been told i also need to do this, so just passing on the advice ive been given. [:D]
