For some school project, part of it was to right a poem about what we like. So i chose rollercoasters, and focused on GOliath SFMM. I know it sucks, but read anyways!

I walked into the park,
and there was something up high.
But then I realized it was a rollercoaster,
two hundred thirty feet in the sky.

I walked to the line,
and got up to the station.
Watching the ride fly by,
gave a nauseating sensation.

I hopped into my seat,
this time I picked the front row.
At the top of the lift,
I had the view of a crow.

The train plunged down the drop,
reaching eighty-five miles per hour.
The forces I felt at the bottom,
created some extreme power.

There was a head-chopper as we entered the tunnel,
inside it was very dark.
Going up the hill after,
there was a great view of the park.

The next gigantic turn was back up into the sky,
I was glad that I had not recently been fed.
On the way back down,
we went right over where I might have lost my head.

The train went up an airtime hill,
I popped right out of my seat.
The next turn was banked so high,
my head was under my feet.

On the next brake run,
we came to a halting stop.
The train slowed down so much,
it crawled over the next drop.

Upcoming was an over-bank turn,
but this time to the right.
Once again banked so high,
the forces inside felt really tight.

Next was a mammoth, orange helix,
that pulled around four g??????s.
I was pushed back against my seat,
except for my forced out knees.

There was one last switchback hill,
we went up and over the top.
I didn??????t want the ride to end,
but eventually it had to stop.

The last turn came upon us,
and we hit the final brake run.
I jumped out and back into line,
for this ??????Goliath?????? ride was a whole lot of fun.

[lol]

haha your prolly gunna laugh at this free verse shizzz:

The beating of a heart
lest you know your still strong.
But when the beating stops,
you go into an unknown world
of regret, where you are all alone.

When the beating stops,
you know its all your fault.
You let it happen to yourself
and didn't hold back from the temptation
to do what is worng and immoral.

But inside their working hearts,
they know who you are.
They try their hardest to keep you alive
unlike you did for yourself.
They want to hear the beating.

I hope some of you get the message of that actually. I faced being right there when my grandpa had a heart attack. It really told me something.

IF you read it in the correct way it flows nicely and follows the rhyme scheme of ABCB. I like ti that way. Btw, this is kinda in the wrong forum. It was originally about Goliath, so thats why its here.

Maybe we should make this into a poetry sharing forum?

you are trying to create rhymes, that just dont flow right in some places. to become really great at poetry, you dont have to make words or phrases sound words to make it rhyme.
