NBC Universal is famous for its programming but mainly because of the color peacock logo that follows:

I'm slightly upset by this.
Either their graphic designers only have Word to make a logo, or the management are just on crack.

It would not suprise me to hear it cost them $100,000 to have this logo made.
I think the exxon logo cost $100 million to make. It cost that much due to market research behind to make it neutral across all countries, religions, etc., of the world. Silly marketers charging that much money for a fail logo.

I actually don't believe this. There's no way a major corporation like NBC could forgo such a recognizable identity for something so awful. I'm waiting to hear a "just kidding".

NBC released a press release Hours ago with their updated logo. It now features the iconic Rainbow Colors in a new design and new font. Check it out below:

NBC have just released their new logo, it's "future proof", they say it is more in keeping with how the future will be.
