I recently downloaded Elementary to my computer and realized what I've been missing out on forever. So here's my first shot at creating an accurately shaped, custom B&M floorless.

My computer's been lagging lately, so I had to run the sim with low-quality graphics.

Customized B&M predrop-like turn out of the lift. All the fun of the pre-drop, with a faster entrance into the turn. And smoother heartline.

Elementary is some good stuff.

I spent a ton of effort shaping this immelmann.

EDIT: Next element sculpted. Inclined immelmann loop.

I think the supports on your loop come out a little to far.

hmm in the first picture the loop looks fine, and then in the picture it very circular.
What are these for?

Looks like it's just the viewing angle.

From one side it's almond-shaped, and from the other it looks almost lopsided.

It does seem a bit too circular, and the drop looks odd but in some views it looks very well done. The immelman looks amazing from that angle, as does the inclined turn thingy, maybe banking is a bit off in some places? It's difficult to tell really, but it looks good nonetheless.

I think the perspective render of the sim made some of those elements look weird.

However, I did some more screenshot references later on and realized that the loop is, in fact, too circular. I suppose I was just overly afraid of overdoing the teardroppish shape.

Here is the reshaped loop:

And I did some fixing on the banking of the inclined immelmann loopety thing.

Small update for trackwork and 3ds:

Some temple thingy that I suppose is going to be important later on. For now, though, it makes the exit of the loop a lot more awesome.

Dive loop with a planned underground pass.

Somewhat major update. Got some theming and trackwork done, and added a bit of floater air after the mid brakes.

Yeah, I'll probably change the hill over on the left to a Stengel dive.

A second near miss with the temple.

And now the pain begins. B&M corks are absolutely impossible to shape perfectly, so I might need a little help here.

I've never used elementary so I'm not of any use on the shaping. But, the rest of the ride is looking phenomenal.

Richie, the corkscrew doesn't look quite right banking or the B&M circular shape. Though could be the pic angle, that it isn't a full corkscrew or the one beer I had while posting this.

Good fix on the loop. In the first few posts', I notice some track spine in the ground. So I hope you have fixed that since. Otherwise, looking very good. Nice Egyptian theme. I wish I had patience enough to learn a 3D program. I've tried a few free ones with tutorials and just don't get it.

I spent some time looking at more reference pics and I have a better corkscrew, but it still doesn't quite tighten at the top of the inversion. Heck, it's pretty much impossible to tell perfectly, but this is as close as I've gotten so far.

On a sidenote, I'm beginning to do some train designs. I have narrowed them down to these two. First, a drab, undead type of color scheme:

The second, a brighter, more generic one.

I'll add more styling / texturing when I've settled upon one.

Grand total of three near misses with the temple.

The corkscrew actually looks phenomenal. And B&M corks do not have circular profiles...

^circular profiles? I thought it was somewhat accurate to the Kumba corkscrew reference pic...
