Gerstlauer Eurofighter 320 EX

Gerstlauer has announced the new Euro-Fighter 320 EX, the 4th Euro-Fighter production design to date. Like the other models, this one starts with a vertical lift hill (72 feet) followed by a beyond-vertical 97????????? first drop. The car then enters three back to back inversions, a vertical loop, the new Immelman Loop and a Heartline Roll followed by a high G-force helix before hitting the magnetic brakes.

I have to disappoint Gerstlauer, but that is FAR of an Immelman. If we call that an Immelman, then Eejanaika has an Immelman, too..

Yeh it looks more like the cutback thing on Drachen Fire. It looks like a fun ride though.

I'm glad Gerstlauer has put a mark in the coaster community for something other than having some of the crappiest wood trains every manufactured. I can't wait to see what else they have instore for us in the future.

I think they painted some of it, look at the white parts of the track.

It's only 3-pipe on the most intense (high G) parts of the ride, the drop, the loop and the not-an-Immelman Loop switchback. The rest is the usual 2 pipe.

Looks like a pretty fun and intense little ride! I'd rather have one of these wedged into a corner of a park than an small Intamin Rocket.
Be sure you're not looking in a mirror before you start pointing fingers.

It would be really cool if these suddenly became more popular, kinda like how the rita-ish rockets did... Both Gerstlauer and moner shony (yes, SP, i know) don't recieve enough credit for their rides IMHO...

Immelman, most definitely at Cut-Back. At least they arn't sitting back, i absolutely love new creations. No match for Speed at oakwood though, no chance[;)].
