There are some MP3 devices out there that easily clear the Pods. Dell Jukeboxes are not a bad idea. Durable, pretty cool looking and plays music. What more do you need?

I think I'm going to buy me one of them new 399 dollar iPhones.

Stupid user base aside, I will never own a Mac. It's not so much that I'm a PC loyalist. I'm not. It's that I'm not stylish enough to own one. Most iPod commercials feature guys with long hair, chicks roller skating, and guys wearing fedoras. I have dandruff, and I buy most of my jeans from a grocery store. I feel like in order to have a Mac, I need to be:

# An artist.
# In a band.
# Unemployed (see above).

After the recent Apple conference, Mac fans were elated. One person was quoted as saying "I've had a Macintosh now for a total of 35 days, and I'm really excited to be part of the Mac community." Part of the Mac community? It's a computer, not a social movement, asshole! I feel like Apple is not just selling computers, they're selling a way of life"

Macs are meant to be trend, like MTV. MTV decides what is cool and everyone else than copies to be cool because everyone thinks MTV decides the cool thing. Apple is the same way. They are trying to sell their computers and iPods less than an actual device, but more of a way of life. A style. A trend. Only cool people have Apple products.

Macs are actually decent computers, though...

^the iMac is a well-realized concept that not too many others have done, but otherwise, I don't see the point in buying a Mac. I'd rather just buy a copy of OS X and run it on the hardware I have (if that wasn't so tricky). The hardware really isn't anything special either (not to mention, overpriced).

There isn't a way to run OS X on a PC.

The dropped the "Computers" part of their company because they computer sales suck so much. That's why it's not "Apple Computers" anymore. Good computers or not, they're overpriced to hell.

However the two finger scroll thing on laptops is a nice feature I'll give them that.

mac computers would be great if they were like 500 bucks cheaper. There way overpriced mainly because "ooh they run mac osx" and oh shiz that's so much better then windowns, windows is for buisness nerds.

Mac's arent bad, but you can get a windows system that's so much better quality and speed and storage for that price.

Yeah, because you don't have to. They can run faster than any PC can on a half or lesser processor. A 500 Mghz G4 processor was faster than an Ghz pentium when it was released.

Macs are better computers, everything is integrated. It's the reason it runs faster- Apple makes what it runs on, and while that may not seem like a big deal, it is one, because it means that the program developers know the platform theyre making it for through and through.

I'm on an iMac right now, it's my sister's though, 20 inch Intel Core 2 duo, it's the white one. It's the best and fastest computer I've ever used.

Which is why many game and software companies refuse to develop on Macs. I'm right about this. Find me a good computer game that isn't on a PC that is only on Mac. You can't. Also buying virtual PC or whatever and then saying it works IS NOT THE WAY IT SHOULD BE DONE. Just like downloading a bunch of third party programs and hacking into the hidden files to move music on an iPod IS NOT THE WAY IT SHOULD BE DONE. Integration is about as useful as a weasel in a cardboard shirt. Since everything is integrated, when one thing breaks, the whole thing breaks and then you have to shell out a gazliion dollars to get a new shiz computer. This is why you don't buy DVD/TV combinations, you buy a DVD player and a TV separately. That way if your TV breaks you haven't wasted a DVD player.

Why on earth would we want some overcostly Mac if we can get a ?????????ber gaming rig for the same price with XP and Vista running dual om a 1 Terrabyte harddisk? Apple sucks, its way to expensive. Look beyond them and see that there are some other product which are at least equaly good and likely less expensive.

Also, mac has nog proper gaming, even Sim City 4 for it still costs 50 euros.....

Great, there you are with all this power, and not decent programm to use it with. CAn you play crysis, not you can't, can you play Guild Wars? No. Can you play any decent game with actualy uses the PC? NO

Why would your sister need a incredibly fast PC with core 2 duo anyway, if she has absolutly nothing that actualy uses all this power?

Edit: Just looked up how much a Imac would cost that is on par with my 800 dollar PC, its only costs 3000 dollars, and you can't even game on it!
