I'm not sure whether or not this is old news, but it appears as if Maurer Sohne is coming out wit a new type of train that is similar to their X cars, but floor less and four seats wide.
Boulder Dash was the only good roller coaster.

whoops, I misspoke. Only the two outside seats are floorless.

I like how all of the track in the background is from pictures of inverted coasters, lol. These new trains look awesome, but the restraints still don't look very comfortable. The ride capacity will probably be lower than it would be for a B&M, due to the number of people who will refuse to sit in the outside seats.

Also, it looks like the restraint handle has a built in iPad.

If you are looking at the press release than I believe you are referring to the touchscreen on Brake Run: The Ride (Hollywood Rip, Ride, Rockit)

Brakes don't even activate... the brakes are there for increased capacity...
Oh, were you expecting something here?

The trains look hot. Kinda like X only no rotating and seats closer to the track.

They did on each MCBR when I rode it.

When it comes to capacity, the X-Train steps in at the very top . . . That's how far a fascinating machine with a powerful impression has evolved.

I love Maurer-Sohne!

Omfg. Those might possible be the ugliest trains I have ever seen.
So, my friend came up to me the other day and asked if I wanted a frozen banana, and I said no, but I want a normal banana later, so... yea.

I wonder what the hydraulic line is for (poking out of the wheel assembly)?

I don't think it is a hydraulic line. I would more say it is used for greasing all the bearings on the wheel assembly.

Edit: Or an air line to apply a manual brake.

Lapbar release I'd bet. S&S does something similar.

how in the world can they call that "the first spinning coaster with a loop"?! It barely makes it past 90 degree banking!

Non-inverting loop is a loop.

It's similar to how Acura advertises that it uses crumple zones even though everyone but Chinese cars do.

I was thinking the same thing...crumple zones are crumple zones, but turns that don't go past 90 degrees banking are in no way (at least in my opinion) a loop.
