I was thinking the same. Looks so much more colorful in Phyter's recreation of it.

You guys do realize that FOF normally runs in a near pitch black building, right? The colors or cleanliness of the track (or lack of) aren't noticeable when you are riding it. In fact, I always thought that Phyter's recreation was a little too colorful, although still a very good recreation. That was my experience when riding PKD's version, but I guess PKI's could be different.

Anyway, those are some cool videos, FN. FOF has to be one of the most underrated steel coasters ever made. Hopefully I will make it to Virginia again soon so I can ride it.

I rode it last year (at PKD) ... it is no different than the Aerosmith rock and roll coaster at Disney. It is not really that fast once you get past the first inversion, but the turns are so sharp that it 'feels' fast. Really, it is not that amazing. Runaway Mountain at SFOT is better IMO because you areheld in with little lap bars versus these restraints which make sure you do not have any more kids, but then again there are no inversions. Overall, it is a spaghetti bowl at about 50 mph in the dark ... nothing to write home about.

FOF doesn't have OTSR...hasn't had them for a few years. Other than that, to each his own. I thought it was great.

Hands were faster than my brain Kev -- I edited it (but I guess not before your posting to correct me).

And people have been saying that this year FOF at PKI has been launching at full speed and without using the trim brakes just after the launch section, letting it zoom through the course at a much better speed than in previous years.

Meh, she ay bad, I mean I would, but I've had better [;)][lol]

Anyway, I believe we were talking about some ride or something [lol] heh heh. I've heard of this ride before, but never really taken much notice of it, is the layout exactly the same as Poltergeist and Jokers Jinx ....... and that one that used to be at the Suzuka Circuit?

Yeah, that would be awesome. I mean, we already have 14 clones, why not add another? [lol]

It would definatly be the best coaster at the park if they did build one up here...

Nope, all of the coasters at PCW are copies of other coasters.

Yeah, I wish KBF would get one of these Speghitti Bowls, like where KotD is, since they closed that ride down, but that's not gonna happen, not enough room for the launch. Oh well, maybe I'll get to some other park with one.

Its tough for me to see PCW getting another coaster because now that IJST is in they got barely enough room to fit some flat rides unless they tear something down because all the land around it is built so........

There is still lots of room by the water park, in the middle of the park by Vortex and don't forget that entire overflow parking lot.

as someone said early, phyter's recreation is too bright. i rode FoF front seat in 2002, the same year he based his 3ds on. i also rode it again, same seat, in 2004. both looked identical. all of the rooms are too bright in the sim then in real life. the first queue building, you cant really see the other side b/c it is so dark, in his you can see the tv perfectly. but we do need to give him credit for being a track and 3d making good. he is probably one of the best ever at 3dsMax and NL.
