Wow, that was a great vid edge really well edited aswell. And it had some of the best footage of nemesis i have ever seen, because thats a really hard ride to get video of cos loads of things are in the way etc. But your footage was great, especially some of the footage of rita too!!!!! [:D] Its a great ride isnt it!

I also noticed in that video though, that even when the video was of a quality that high, you still cant quite show the atmosphere of nemesis, and actually how large it is, even though it is apparently quite small. But great great vid, thanks man! [:D]

Thanks, i have to give credit to my father for those cool shots of Nemesis! He is 6'5 and towers over most of the objects in the way Although he does love Nemesis he doesnt ride it as it makes him feel ill This means that whilst me and my mate repeat rode it, he got all the awesome video shots you saw. It was also quite alot of luck that the bottom area was opened up, which it isn't usualy do to health and safety reason

Great video! Some realy nice footage there. It realy mad me wanting to got back to Alton Towers. Rita and Spinnball looks very cool and Nemesis is always great. Good video!

Nice video dude! Well done [:)] Only are really the rides THAT slow or is it just a feeling cause of the music/video combination?

Air and Oblivion are quite slow, but Nemesis and Rita is hell'a fast. Infact Rita was a nightmare trying to film. You had to memorize where the train is going to be and point the camera in that spot and twirl

I have downloaded it, but I have no idea whether it was a good video or not because my computer is such a gay that when I played it, It was basically just pictures that were 5 seconds apart lol, so now I'm downloading the smaller version to see if I can actually see whats going on. Good music in the end though [:)]

Dirk the rides just look slow, but whn riding them they are so twisted the feeling of speed is incredible. Especially on nemesis whick IMO is running better than ever this season, it feels even faster. And edge i have to agree with you it is hard to video rita, very hard, not only because its so fast but because you are standing right under it and everything.

winzip gives me an error, something like "connot open file: achive is not valid" or something like that. i have downloaded it again but theres no difference[V]

Wow, footage was really good. Editing was really good, music was really good. This video showed parts of Alton Towers that I haven't seen before. I liked the footage with the nemesis' blood like water. Didn't know it was so red. It would have been cool, though if you had some video of COrkscrew, but w/e. It was still really good, and flowed with the music.

They ahve just redyed the water. The only thing that makes alton look bad on that video is the damn ripsaw fountains. I wish they would fix them, it just isnt the same ride without them. But i did notice when i was on it it managed to do 4 backflips in a row, which is good for Ripsaw. Next time you go get some footage of the Flume duck, then people will know just how freaky it is. It is scarier than Duel, lol. He comes out quacking and you just dont expect him there, it made me jump the first time, lol. BTW people, i dont think we can expect many onrides of Rita, unless the park decides to allow them, which i really really doubt. The ride launches from basically inside the station, although the front of the first car is out of the station slightly. This means the ride ops will notice you with your vid camera. Oblivions probably the easiest to video onrides there i think. And Thecool326, thats only the thrill sections of the park, theres even more. Im not into views and stuff really, but man, Alton is beautiful. Especialy the valley, gardens, and the actual towers. And again there are some amazing rides with stunning themeing, nemesis for one, and Hex!!!! Although obviously it aint quite as good as the themeing at Europa park or somewhere like that.

Still though, it was a pretty good video when my computer let me watch it sort of properly in the end. I think though, that you haven't included enough of the pinfari dragon coaster or squirel nutty, my personal favourites at Alton Towers

Edit: I just watched it again, you slipped in some footage of Oblivion from the first video of Alton Towers that you made didn't you? Sorry for me being sad enough to notice that and all, but still.

Yeah, i didn't have enough footage of Oblivion. I had about 3 shots of it going down so i got the old film out and got some footage from there. Also the fountains of Hex were working, just the ride ops choose not to use them as really no one would go on it when its only 15 degrees out anyway. Furthermore i do have footage of Corkscrew its just that its stuck behind all of the supports of Rita and doesn't really make great viewing

The fountains are switched on but the button on the control panel is currently disconnected from the supply.

But yeah, it has a launch like Xcelerators, not giving you any time to bust out your camera while the Ops are looking, you always could, just pay them off, though.[;)]
If I ever get over to Knott's anytime soon, I want to make a video. It might not be as good as this, but maybe. This is by far one of the best. I just deleted the old one becuase its so crappy compared to this. That and my documents has 15 gb of files in it and thought I need to delete a bunch of stuff.
