Okay so i just started using newton 2 because lets face it almost ALL of the best rides on No Limits were made with this program and i don't want to be left in the dark. Only problem is while yes my rides are smooth the still seem to be idk awkwardly shaped and kinda pumpy. I feel like i had done better without newton than with ti. Basically i'm asking for help from the bets to give me tips on this program. And A113 and AyTrane even though it is completely unrelated to the topic above i would like to say i LOVE your work and hope that after i practice enough with newton i can make No Limits coasters as good as yours some day. I look up to you and aspire to one day be like you. RESPECT!

ok just for my 2 cents to start with, all the best coasters are not made on newton, smoothest yes but not the best

what i would say is just keep playing with it, get your transactions in the right places, use the multipul option as much as possiable and practice, practice practice. thats about all i can tell you

best tip i can give you is don't let newton do all the work. Its surprising how many newton noobs are on the site these days, and by that i mean people who throw random numbers at newton and then use what ever comes out just because its "smooth". Practice your shaping and learn what certain forces do. Learn how each force behaves at different banking and use that knowledge to shape elements properly.

Thanks for the unexpected and random complement.

I am still learning how to use Newton myself. One day I will be great at building, and another day I can't make bupkis. This is why I prefer the much more challenging and time consuming method of "hand building".

Keep at it, look over your work carefully, and you will be very satisfied with your work. Just remember, you need to spend a lot of time with a track to make sure it turns out the way you want it. Never settle for the easy way out!
