I notice every update discussion, Edge keeps suggesting "Better Catwalks" I'm sure there going to do that this time.
mannn I hope they do too. or at least make it so you can place them more realisticly (IE, instead of having it brake and start over from brake run to holding brakes, have it be all on catwalk)
I think that the gears look good,I also wish for better catwalks, bolts in parts of the roller coaster, realistic footers, even more realistic wooden texures, better trains, better catwalks, being able to put catwalks anywhere, not just on the brakes, lifts, transports, and level the catwalks to all the same height. Also I wish for ultra real supports and track. I want that little bent track look on the actuall smooth gone, it just takes a little more better graphics, I know its a lot to ask but its worth it!
Well guys remember they were talking about adding muarer shone!!!
Well, i'd rather think they are adding the gerstlaurer spinning for the 1.6 update. Since we have seen screens before with those trains on track. But i'm still hoping that the maurer sohne spinners will be included too in this update [:)]
Coastercount: 1410(I've seen the world and it's horrid contraptions... @.@) - Wood: 142 - Steel: 1268
ohhhhh yea. That doesn't really need to be fixed with different distances, it can be fixed with more object specific drawings. IE, instead of it drawing EVERYTHING within a certain distance, it only fully draws what you're bound to look at like the track or supports.
Also the train shadows can be more accurately done.
I can run steelies maxed out to the hilt with everyone on max and AA up to 2 or 3. I notice no difference really from 3 to 4 other than maybe a tiny bit more smoothing but heck, on quality 2 its fine. No need for 4.
A mi me gustaria que tuviera nuevos tipos de coaster (4th Dimension, Dive-Machines o Rockets) las escaleras del lift (catwalks) y los frenos... los estan dejando muy bien.
Yea, alot of people have more powerful ones than I! This thing is a year old in a couple months and I give it 6 months before its a "mid-grade" machine.
It's amazing when you compare the geometric detail of those brakes and trains to the stations and catwalks and trees, and besides, too much geometry is slowing down the framerate a lot. But anyways, the models look pretty good, and I'm still glad they're doing some more amounts of updating to the site.
Edit: I saw edge's post, I'd actually have to agree with him a bit on that part, though he didn't mention the trees. (except there hasn't been a good coaster sim with good trees yet, you only see the complete 3d swaying trees in the games that use directX9. If they aren't going to make better trees, at least make the 3ds placement tools easier to work with)
