Hi All,

I am new here. I was a big fan at coastersims (or is it website that shall not be named?) and have been toying with no limits for quite some time. I dont use all the fancy tools that come with it AHG etc. but before no limits I was a big fan of the coaster tycoons 1,2 and 3.

I guess I am wondering if anyone has heard of no limits or any other companies doing anything like the coaster tycoons. I would like to see something like this with the no limits style graphics. I would like to be ablke to design an entire theme park not just a single ride and have guests. rct3 just didnt do it for me. the coaster graphics were below par, esspecially for the money spent on the game.

I think most computers today are more than capable of handling something like this. I mean I have been using no limits for 10 years now and have upgraded my machine probaly 3-4 times since buying no limits. On my machine today no limits runs like a dream unlike when I first got it and could only get 20 fps. now it is a steady 100 fps.

I have read that they are working on NL2 but if it is just more coasters and a little but better graphics I may as well just stick with the original.

Like I asked I was wondering if anyone has heard of something like this being developed, not just by the no limits people. I miss the old rct days and rct1 & 2 just dont get the job done for me anymore.

Thanks in advance for any info.

Hey, looking around the forums you should be easily see that we know what no limits is. for the poll...I would have to say I like it the way it is. If you could make a whole theme park I think it would be taking away from the 'simulator'. You can always make 3ds to make other coasters and buildings (but i guess the coasters wouldn't be too good in quality).

I would like multiple rides at once, not dueling coasters that connect to each other. It'd be nice if they added no boundaries like SM also and having guest would be really great so it's like you own your own Theme Park but the rides are not as crappy as RCT3.

Honestly, I have been a RCT fan since it came out in 1999, the only problem is there are too many limits, specifically, the predetermined elements. I would love to see a simulation that combines the best of RCT3 (the flats, scenery, themes, peep response, and water slides) with the designing abilities of No Limits.

I would imagine it would be fairly easy to export from NL to a RCT3 style game.

If it is so easy, then, why don't you do it?

I think a no limits theme park would be fantastic! We already know that there will be multiple rides in one scene in no limits 2. But I would highly doubt guests. I think its an awesome idea though, it would be fun to have our own park with guests riding on our rides, but be able to build those rides no limits style.

Me,as a huge RCT2 and NL fan I`d love to see that.
All RCCAs should be RMC'd. And that event shall be henceforth known as the Rollercaust.

Looking from that picture right, I'm guessing you can have multiple rides in one park.

That's been confirmed for like 6 months now. Rooprect wants an NL-style park simulator, not just multiple rides in a park.

even with that picture if you know what you are doing with nl right now you can accomplish that, it wont be two rides but you can have dueling coasters, if you are good enough to time everything.

also im not looking for it to be just no limits. for me no limits is fine as it is. but it could be so much better if they could add a theme park feel to it.

If they could take it to a whole theme park level it would be amazing and No Limits would be known so much more than RCT3.

You know though, I was such a huge fan of RCT2, I just feel they could expand on the idea. I think 3 made the whole thing too complex. What if they updated the animation of 2, but kept the gameplay and functionality the same. With same viewing style (the clean but blocky pseudo-3D effect), but with a 360 rotatable viewing angle, freed up the placement of 3D objects, updated the physics, and put a No Limits style ride creator in? To me, that would be the ultimate game.

Yeah you can do dueling coasters but there not right? The trains go into a different station everytime which is a fail.

Yeah,I think a NL version of RCT2 would be the best.I`ve seen incredible stuff done in RCT2,but even with all the trainers and hacks you`re very limited, such as the object folder limit and so on.
All RCCAs should be RMC'd. And that event shall be henceforth known as the Rollercaust.

I've always thought on that idea, but don't have near the skill to make a simulator or game of any kind.
Yes you can make dueling coasters, but only if theyre the same type, it'd be awesome to have a regular/inverted mix. And rides and waterslides would be freaking awesome In NL. just saying

We already know that NL2 will allow multiple coasters in a simulation. So, to make an entire park, the only other thing you'd need would be the ability to make scenery objects with moving parts (flat rides). I don't see much point in simulated guests, tbh. They'd just be a gimmick.
