I love those graphics! Why can't NL use up to date graphics like DX9 lol.

What the heck is wrong with me? I opened one of those pics and I saw the clouds moving...

BTW, it's got to be an NLFG update, just look at the lights and stuff, it's identical to the ones in the current game.

its not there are people on the rides. also why would they make another top spin if the only difference is if its suspended or not. and dosnt have top bar or side bar.

i'd rather hope it are pics for the virtual rides [:D] But flying circus is always a fun ride to control, only i hope it isn't limited, like max speed 5... It more fun if you can override the speeds till unrealistic! [:D]

^^oh and they are prolly adding people, and editing the top spin, not adding a new one.[:)]

So they're just renders? Not screenshots? The polygon count appeared low enough to be rendered in real time.

its not there are people on the rides.

I've noticed. I just thought NLFG may have added peeps to the rides.

They appear to be screenshots, not renders. WAY too jagged to be renders. I'm just saying that that product seems to be designed for general vizualization meant for corporate presentations, not running games. If you look at some of the other screenshots, they show an automobile production line as well as some office/building plaza.

I dunno if it's just me but NL fairground doesn't do a thing for me, from a "game" standpoint or visually. I mean graphically we can already make NL or SM look like this....that's just texturing and polycounts well without the bloom lighting but I have seen modelers in the NL/SM community pump out stuff that looked just as good...

another thing this actually looks like worse graphics and why would they make the same ride twice with different theameing
EDIT: also NLFG was I guess sponsered by HUSS so they only have rides by them. If it was getting more rides the whole fairground would have to be rebuilt so they are not going to have a patch this soon. if they were it would at least be in september.

like i said before, they are prolly editing the ride, not adding two of the same. or make a butten on the control panel that switches the themes. and it is worse grafix bcause it is the demo prototype, the demo wont come out for a while yet.

i luv yer icon!!!! I lamo every time i c it![lol] and what it says is true.

The artwork may be good, but use of pixel shaders would make it look alot better. Lighting and bumpmapping does alot to make the graphics look good. I can't wait for SM2. NL's graphics are just too out of date. (or perhaps I'm just one of those spoiled gamers [:)] )

Then again, I haven't seem pixel shaders used in NLFG. But the gfx are still really nice. But too many people these days have cards that can't render bumpmaps. (a card that can doesn't even cost that much anyways, only around $40)
