Just thought that if NL used a futuristic holographic system for editing, it would work alot easier. Here's how: You put your finger in the hologram, and sensors know where it is. You "touch" a node or object, and use your finger, along with the sensors picking up your movements, to move the track around, way better tahn with a mouse IMO. K'nex just doesn't do it. Another method is to just drop the verticy system simply by using hands to move any part of the track. You should be able to pull it out, push it in, etc, all with some carefully arranged sensors. Ah, what a dream. NLv40.7, haha, track making would be alot easier and more fun. [:)]

Of course, a similar effect can be achived with a touch screen, but it's way better to do it in 3d, isn't it.

well it would be fun if you could step into a virual coaster in 2020 [:)] And if you want to create a coaster you can do it totally with your mind, i want the node a little to the left, no too much. A little to the left. Ok now edit node nr. 50[:D]. Would be a quite fun idea. Maybe in the year 2020, NL 5.25[:D]

hopefully it will include flying coasters and suspended coasters by then. LOL. And an invisible track like in SM. In the future it would be cool if you could buy a virtual reality coaster ride and import your nolimits creations into it so you can actually ride your ride and see what it feels like. And if your ride really pulls 100 g's then so would the virtual coaster[:p]

Disney Quest has somthing like that. You build your coaster in a computer, save it to a credit card, type thing, and then ride it in a simulator, with a screen. Very cool.

[lol] [lol] [lol] [lol] [lol]

And if NL is turned to virtual reality, all of the n00bs will have no ratings! [lol] [lol] [lol] After all, no one would risk their life to help a n00b, now would they? [lol] [lol] [lol]

Yeah, and then everything would be technically perfect, so all people would have to do is make an original and thrilling coaster.

And if that was the case, your coasters would still suck, [:D] On the other hand, I would have died in my own rides so, I wouldn't have been able to make it to releasing it on the internet. [:P]

Yeah, quite a disadvantage there! [lol]

Maybe in that year, we'll go to the store to get a oouse and a keyboard and a monitor for 10 cents! Jstuf ro our own safety, lol.

And in popular science, one time, I read about someting where they attached electros to a monkey's head as a test and he controlled a robot. Hopefully, if they are able to do it, there might be electrodes you can simply attach to your head without having to open it. Looks like a fwe years before being able to use your mind and mind only to create a ride! [lol]

Believe it or not, it is becoming more and more plausible to have computers controlled by your thoughts... maybe 15 or 20 years away at most. There was a test done where a test subject had his brain connected to electrodes... when he thought of moving around, the electrical pulses of the brain were transmitted through the wires, and using a complex computer program were converted into commands, which moved a robot around within a maze. After only a few minutes, the subject had complete control over the robot, and had it moving all around the maze with ease. Pretty cool, huh?

I also saw that on discovery channel, the thing is it dont see how it would work with me. My brain is thinking a thousand thoughts at once, and being able to create a track would never work. Id always have loopscrews all over the place and the track would constantly collide with objects. As for flying a plane with your mind, jeez i'd fire rockets at everything that moved, im starting to like this brain control stuff...

I don't trust it. I prefer the hologram. :) Not just with what you've said, but also, I think it's more fun that way, gives a "hands on" experience, lol, just like how K'nex does.
