You can turn off the terrain in any of the displays. Click the Display button at the top of the view you want and uncheck Draw Terrain.

Don't know if someone has already posted this, but maybe the cable lift system or the catch car launch system like with Millennium Force for the former and Top Thrill Dragster with the latter

Does anyone know if there is a way to speed up the RPM on the Enterprise ride? The current rotation is too slow.

^find this line in the Enterprise script:
fDiscAng = Tools.switchRampC2(fRideLength, -13 * 360, 7, t);

The '-13*360' value determines the rotation speed. Increase the value, increase the speed.

Since there's an option that lets you rotate the track, I think it would also be convenient to be able to scale parts of the track up or down in a similar way, without having to reinsert the element in a different size and do a bit of guesswork.

Hmmm... I'm really missing one thing from the old editor: The NL1 build-in terrain editor. It was sooo much easier and less of a hassle to create some nice and custom terrains with that.

The current building style is just too much like the NL Terraformer has been. I'm really missing the old immediate click and drag terrain editing.

Instead of choosing "Select markers", click directly on "Modify markers" and here you have your click and drag editing. Plus, hold the alt key for an alternate mode (more squarish).

I would like the Speed up passes enabled in continuous track mode, not just in shuttle mode. it would be great for xCar type coasters

I'd really like to see a visual representation of the rotation that 4D seats will move. I noticed that if I set my 4D triggers just right, the seats will flip over before adjusting to the specified angle.

Guess this is a new bug that I failed to notice before. During my work on firefly I'm having issues with the transfer track support footers going through the tunnel underground. Thing is, it doesn't do it every time I freeze it and I can't replicate what causes it.

I'm guessing it has something to do with the terrain.
Just a guess though.

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned yet but...

Can this get fixed so the catwalk looks like this on transfers?

It would be nice to be able to hide a section of supports, its part of the reason I never fully support the woodies I make, all the dots get confusing for me and I have never found a solution to overcome it
What are these for?

BUG FOUND : well... not sure what this is. I placed that new Frisbee into my park and went into the sim to test it out. while I watched the cycles of the ride I put it on X4 speed. after maybe 20-30 sec I noticed the screaming swing and Frisbee were not going through the cycle but repeating the same movement over and over. then all of a sudden...
I get this
Image
the numbers just keep streaming
Image

so bug, or did I break it?

ok so I did it again, this time I did NOT speed up time. when the numbers came up I let it run and after ~20 sec NL froze
I think it is something with the Frisbee, so I took it out no more error.

Think I found a small bug.
Sometimes after I click the 'no lateral G's' button in the roll panel, I can't exit the roll panel normally and every button I click (the x in the top right, any of the roll degree buttons) the program somehow thinks I'm clicking the no laterals button again. Leaving the editor and coming back makes things go back to normal.

Getting pretty tired of botched freenode placement. Im NL1.x, the free node placement was flawless. If I clicked on a node (to set the placement of new nodes based on the 2D view chosen) and placed one, I wouldn't need to worry where it was placed on the Z scale (in reference to the XYZ 3D dimensions).

Now in NL2, if terrain is in the way based on my 2D perspective it will stop the node placement on the Z scale where terrain is. Not only that, but now even when unobstructed by anything the nodes will (after I've clicked on a node at about 1m Y value) be placed about 10m above the targeted height and placement.

This is a really annoying issue and I really hope it's fixed ASAP

I am trying to build a fence correctly down here

But my nodes get placed up here

Not sure if a bug, but I really wish you could move around vertices without moving the next few supports around, even a few vertices down. It gets pretty annoying. Also hopefully (and I know there's FVD++, but as of now it has its own exporting issues with NL2) the built-in FVD gets an overhaul, or maybe the team can incorporate Altlenny's FVD++ into NL2! It would just be nicer to have it integrated into one program!

WANT: I would like to be able to adjust the angel of the entrance and exit of a tunnel to match the terrain. Also I would love to see Tracer Lights for wooden coasters!

Sorry for double post
Was listening to the NL team on the Season Pass Podcast and they have confirmed that a Mac version is in development. Glad to see all you Mac users won't get left behind forever!
