That's absolutely amazing!!! It looks almost photo-realistic in some of the shots. But, what happened to the trees that he showed last holiday season? The trees in the new screenshot are the same 2D trees we have now [:(]

I would hope we would have it by Christmas of 2011. It looks incredible, though.

And there goes another jaw. WOW. Look at those rails! It looks like they just made a level with a coaster in an insanely high quality version of halo reach.

Holy poop. Like, holy, love poop.

I really hope that they will incorporate the 8 seater, and the 6 seater versions so somebody can try to recreate the new Krake and stuffs.
So, my friend came up to me the other day and asked if I wanted a frozen banana, and I said no, but I want a normal banana later, so... yea.

It looks more realistic IRL.
Boulder Dash was the only good roller coaster.

This is fantastic to come home to.
I can't wait, and it's great to see that works is still progressing.

I would guess it would be to pay, but I mean, come on, there was so much effort put into this. They deserve the money.

Heres the info with the post:
Tunnels and Dive-Machines
I am proud to show new screenshots from NoLimits2. The underground tunnels are done and working nicely. One will be able to create tunnels through terrain and even below water. It is even possible to create tunnels right through the water. Also the Dive-Machine is done. The Dive-Machine will be one of the new coaster-styles that will be introduced in NL2. We recreated the ten-seats across floorless version. Tom and Kevin did a great job in recreating the trains, while I was working in parallel on the engine to support the new train features. First of all the train bogeys will now work like the real thing. I implemented a true A-steering (German: Achsschenkellenkung) bogey simulation. That means the left and right parts of the bogey will perfectly follow the track and will rotate independently in all axes. This can be seen on the first screenshot. The true A-steering simulation will make NoLimits2 move ahead into realism and leave the status of a game behind.

NoLimits2 tunnels and dive-machine

Please notice how the track gets darker, the further it goes down into the tunnel. The screenshots also show the new rails in action. Both the trains and rails use multiple textures to create the final image. Diffuse maps, bump maps, specular maps and reflection maps are used to recreate a realistic looking track. We hope you like that. We are working hard on finishing the product. Even when you won't hear much from us, you can bet that we are busy working on NoLimits2. Obviously there is still a lot of work left to do. Everyone who has ever worked on a large project can probably confirm how the complexity increases dramatically with the size of the project. I had to learn that the hard way. [ol]

I'm hoping that the individual wheel bogeys will mean the wood coasters will get some attention there too...as in not being locked tight to the rails. Would make things a lot more realistic.

Would be cool if you could adjust that... After all, some wood coasters ride tighter than others.

I definitely think the delay is worth it, just look at that quality. I would really like to have a full fledged amazing software to take however long it needs to take to make it than have it rushed. I am astounded :o

Do you think they will have automatic floors in the station for this, Inverted, and floorless coasters??
