So I've been working on this Ride for a little bit and Its coming along nicely. I wanted it to be like Intamins older hypers (superman: ride of steel, etc.)

Onto some Photos.

My biggest concerns right now are:

Is the helix too big for it. I was loosely basing it on S:ROS's helix but it seems a little big to me.

The next concern I have is do the supports for the turns. I feel as though I should have lateral braces for them. I wanted to have them like the one on S:ROS but I really am not in the mood to work with sketchup right now.

That last thing I was wondering is should I add another brake-run to increase the capacity. Right now, it is only running with two trains.

So my questions are:
Smaller helix?
Lateral bracing or larger footers?
Add another brake run?

Thanks. I'm open to all constructive criticism.

The helix does look a little bit big. Any reason why the flat 90 turn is so high off the ground?

the helix looks too large. But remember the G's are what matter, not the size of the helix

No, I just didn't do anything with it when I was working on it. Im gonna tweak it now and make the helix smaller aswell.

replace the 2nd hill with a straight section.
Boulder Dash was the only good roller coaster.

The helix looks like my helix of nothing on my jet coaster but more banked and taken at a much faster speed.

I'm not following it completely. I was primarily using it for the helix and supports. But thank you for the link.

1.) The helix looks way better now.
2.) You're definately going to need some lateral bracing for that turn.
3.) Another brake run would be better to increase the capacity, but if you're aiming for a classic intamin, you should probably stick with two.

It's looking pretty good. I'm eager to see more.

Your layout is looking extremely square/grid based. But then again, you are building pre-modern intamin. That's my only real concern.

Oh, and your lift might be too steep for a chain lift for a 90's/early 2000s intamin. It'd be fine if it were a cable lift, but it ain't.
