Ok so this is an odd topic but I wanted to ask which ride you thought made the best rumble!

I go for Bullet because its one of the loudest coasters I have ever been near!

Summary -- coasterboaster: Creats a thread -- replies to it 4 times in the same day, all of them stating less than a handful of rides cause he has been to one or two parks in his life ... geesh, what's the point man? You wanna ride rides because of the sound? Man, you really need to get out more and stop being a 12 year old with nothing to do.

WEll, the best rumble, imo, is Riddler's revenge, it has a nice B&My roar to it like, "ROARRRRRR!"

I actually think TCon is right. Just post less topics about favorite coaster or noisiest and stuff like that.

Ok, yeah I was just messing really. Although since I live in the UK don't live close to any good parks, only have ever been to 2 non-uk parks I think I have an excuse not to talk much about non-uk parks! [redsmoke]

I will take offence to that, s i havent been to hardly any parks. Only joking, i wont take offence. But i havent been to many parks at all. My coaster count is incredibly low for someone who loves coasters as much as me. But my parents dont like coasters or parks really so its hard for me to get to rides and parks. But now im getting older and i can find other ways to get to parks without them. [:D] Mwahahaha.

Ive only been to a couple of disney parks and was too small for rides and stuff, but it dont stop me talking about Non Uk rides. [;)]

Anyway, back on topic, i love the sudden roar that oblivion makes when it drops into the hole. Its so loud when your on it. I also love the sound of nemesis, it roars so loud, and you hear it before you see it. I love being with people that have never seen nemesis in their life, and all they can hear is the roaring and screaming, and then they round the trees and they see it. I remember when i saw nemesis for the first time, i knew i had met my match, and probably the coaster i will love forever! [:D]

I love the sound of Bullet at flamingoland too, when its launched backwards, and you can hear the whole station shake, and stuff. Its great, especially when you are stood on them crappy steps up to the station next to the loop, and the train goes through the station or loop and the steps shake crazily, and rattle under your feet. [:D] hmmm true schwarkopf style. [:)]

I also used to like the sound of this vekoma boomerang at pleasure island. It used to release this shooting and zooming sound like a firework when it dropped. It sounded awesome, and cos it was a little park, you could hear it from everywhere.

Oh you are just the same as me. I can remember my first sighting of Nemesis. In fact it was that very day when I rode my first big coaster. I never went on as I didn't dare! Now you can't keep me away lol

any B&M that doesn't happen to be filled with sand I reckon [:)]. The noise Oblivion makes as it enters the hole rules! Shame the ride sucks ass [lol]. Because Nemesis is in a hole, you can only hear a distant roar and then all of a sudden the really loud roar of the track and the screams of the people, that's cool.

SilverStar makes a gorgeous tone aswell [;)][lol]

So Gouldy, will you be the first person to make a music CD using different B&M roars?

I would say that I like the sound wooden coasters make when the wood is stressed a little bit. The creaking is awesome.

Hades has a great sound both in the tunnel, and also the flyby of the station when you're standing in line. The whole station rumbles when the train goes by because its all built on the same structure.

[lol] good idea actually, the Top Gear presenters tried to do that with car engine noises, but it ended up sounding really pathetic [lol]
