Oh my ... are you remotely serious? Listen up little boy, don't triffle with me. You have created a thread to talk about the "whooshing" noise a coaster makes --- can you not see how assinine and TOTALLY DESPERATE for attention that is?

It is almost akin to this TOTALLY awesome coaster site I found: http://www.freewebs.com/coasterboaster/
With amazing pictures like:

Please, don't mess with me boy -- you will lose.

Thanks Woodie ... so many kids, so little time to take off my belt and educate them properly.

[8D][xx(][:I][:o)]WOW. I just wondered on how random this topic is. Never seen 1 like this. Is a bit stupid, well very stupid. I dont know about other people but i couldnt give a f**k what noise a coaster makes, it doesnt add to the thrill imo. Oh well people have their different opinions i suppose, i dont know an enthusiast that goes to a park to listen to a coaster, hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm! Bit of a stupid topic. BUT WHATEVER FLOATS YOUR BOAT M8 !!!!!!!!!!![:(!][^][:D][B)] .......WOW...... this post is also stupid. THE WORLDS GONE CRAZY!!!!!!!!![}:)] maybe i should lay off the sugar![:p]

The loast coaster that I have been on is the nitro it makes alot of noise and you can'nt here what peole around you are saying another coaster that I think is loed is the batman and robin the chiller that makes alot of noise when it is lunched it sounds relly cool. The great bear at hersheypark makes alot of noise you can here it all over the park it is cool but loed I think that the great american screm mchen makes alot of noise going up the 168 foot tall hill. I think that rockn roller coaster makes alot of noise at the lunch but you relly don'nt here it until you are on the ride becuse disney does alot to hide the noise but if you are in the middle or nere the font or the back of the coaster you here the luch and the clicking of the lims as you are being lunched down the track and up the hill into the rollover loop I like bcuse you can here it when you are riding the coaster and I like becuse of the g force at the lunch. The storm runner at hersheypark makes alot of noise at the lunch but it is relly cool.

I actually do go to parks and listen to the rides. However, unlike most I tend to look at coasters more from an artistic viewpoint rather than just a ride. I love to hear the different noises that go along with a coaster because they DO add to the thrill.

For instance:
Standing down by Dragsters launch and hearing the pulleys spin at astronomical RPM's as the train screams by is quite a sound to hear.

Standing right next to Talons helix or Dueling Dragons wingovers and NOT hearing them till they are next to you is also very, very neat.

You know it Tcon. I only go to parks like that when I go to take pictures. If Im there to ride I still take in the sounds but I pay extra close attention when Im doing photography.

Same way I pay close attention to people passing by. It can be quite entertaining.
