Have you guys seen this. I got pictures of it in the new maddata newsletter. It si the new nolimits fairground game!!!!

Visit this page to see pictures
http://www.nolimitsfairground.com/

Look it is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!! And the good thing is i think it is a totally different program to nolimits, so we wont be seeing all the flat rides with the coasters and messing up FPS! [lol]

If you look at the pictures the graphics look very good already, and the game includes some great fairground/flat rides!!

It has the huss jump, the huss topple tower and everything as you can see! It even includes the huss fly away!!!!! (great ride, you get some great forces at the bottom of the wheel when the ride is going at a good speed).

Cant wait for this. And im glad it looks like it will be two seperate programs. We dont want it going like RCT, beacuse for that, we ahve RCT! [lol]

This is a really cool idea, but the bad thing about is that, unlike the coasters, you cant have unique layouts and whatnot to flat rides, so like if there are say 30 flat rides in the game, and you ride all 30..what then? Just ride em over and over again?...I think that's bad to have seperate programs for this..unless there is gonna be a qhole lt of features added to it.

i think you can build fairs and flatrides parks with this. but it's going to end all the same. Also when i look at the control panel, it seems like you can operate it. I wonder if a topspin will be in the game [:P] there great to control.

They should put this in NL. Fps issues? Just adjust the graphics a bit.

Looks good...yet so crap. As said above, after riding all the different rides through once, then what? The only real thing it could see you being able to customize is the operation of the ride. Say you could set a ride to operate with X amount of rotations etc then save it and upload, but still...boring. Same problem with Virtual Rides, for the first week it was great, does anyone actualy still play on it now?

The reason its not on an update for NL is, why would you give away something for free when you could make money of it? Which i guess is fair play to the guys as it looks like they have been working hard, but will it really pay off? I'd prefer them to be working on another update for NL which i could moan about for a while to keep me entertained...now i just have this to moan about

I just had an idea. Someone announce they are making a theme park sim with Rollercoaster and Flat rides all in one, then we can wait 2 months and let NL come along and copy the whole concept... then we can have a cool theme park sim thanks to the dumbness (i love that word) of the team

kinda off topic:

I'm still playing it once in a week, love to play with the top spin. But that transformers ride is just done after 3 times operating...

wtf? Wait, I thought this was virtual rides, and the publishers just called it something else.
Why would 2 of the same game be coming from the same publisher? & Edges Logic makes perfect sense.
It's got really good detailed rides that all you can do is ride, but not exactly control. Now if you can make totally new flat rides, that could make sense. Or make something like the Tower of Terror, with theming like that, and originality, and crap.

No one said they had to make a flat ride update for NL and give it away for free... ;)

Quote from coastersims: NLFG will be screen saver type of application with flat rides all licensed from Huss. It was developed by some friends of mine. Each flat ride is simulated with real physics and can be fully controlled. There are lots of camera views and a true walk mode. The ride programming can be saved for later use in the screensaver mode.

- Ole

Sounds cool, and I'm sure it's fun the first couple of minutes. Anyways Ole hasn't been making this, and hopefully he is busy making some cool aditions for us[:)]

hmmm wouldn't be of use for me as I don't use screensavers, give me more problems using them than I can count. Looks nice though, but I am sure it'll be more boring quick as there wont be much freedom to do. It'd be nice if you can have them fall apart and cause the cars to go flying off somewhere etc. [lol]

I think it looks a great little game, although i wont be prepared to pay much for it, if anything! Still looks nice though.

That my friend, is probably the best idea for a game I've ever heard.

Well that looks CRAP! Wtf? Has Ole really been concentrating on making this when he could have been making NL better? *sigh* why, why, whyyyyyy!?

Sorry, but I fell asleep watching that video, I can't see the game being anymore exciting than that and if its anything but free then I think Ole deserves a slap. As much as I thank him for NL, this is really gay and pointless, it would just be the same thing over and over again and I'm sorry, but Ole has really wasted his time with this hunk o' crap. Even the shadows were terrible on this game, on that video, look at the shadow of the actual frisbee bit ..... The shadow stays a perfect circle all of the time, even when the arm is horizontal and the frisbee vertical, the shadow of the frisbee is still a circle on the floor .... crap.

I'm going to go make love to an African goat now.

The Team making NLFG is completely different to the No Limits Coaster team. They are only linked through the same publisher (Mad Data) and that Ole is friends with one of the team members.

Anyway, look out for another video soon...
