^You have any idea why I can't see the editor track in SM? Everything works but that. All my drivers are as updated as possible. I use Win XP. Pentium 4 2002 Build. Card is Nvidia GeForce FX 5200. When I first got, this wasn't an issue.

I guess question 2 would be if I uninstall SM, download and install again, it doesn't ask for the Key Code. Any ideas?

Everything should work in the track editor. While inside SM did you try clicking on the upper top right hand logo or icon that says 3D? right beside it it will say top, bottom, left, and right so click on any one of thoese and they will bring you to the track editor. It's all according to which positions your clicking on to edit your track.

Now for the reason why it doesn't ask you for your key code when installing SM the second time is because your previous key code is store inside your system registry.

^Yep. I've tried everything. Even grabbing a pre-made or other user made tracks, it doesn't show in the editor. The help file does say SM has problems with XP users, I just find it odd that it would work when I first got it and then to get this the next time I use it. At least I have NL.

Maybe you should try defragging your hard drive and see if that will help any. I still maintain while at the editor, hold down the right click of your mouse and sort of scrull through the grid to find your track layout. I know your case sounds unusual and that you may have to explain to tech support about this issue. That's the only thing I could think of right now untill I could think of something else that's causing you not to see your track in the editor.

I defraged. Still no track. Unfortunately, Wounded Heart doesn't have any Support at the moment. I'll either have to build blindly so to speak or not use SM at all until I get a new PC. Thanks for the insights CB.

If you can export it to an 3ds file, then I think you could do that...

love it. I'm gonna build some SM tracks blindly. Just got to use the "Test" option to see what the track will look like. And on an way off topic note, every time I install Newton2, exactly 2 weeks later, I get system crash and have to do a System Restore, so I'm thinking my PC is on the last leg.

... For a second there I thought your username was eatthatmonkey... If that was the case I would have responded with something both insulting and clever.
Boulder Dash was the only good roller coaster.

In the begining you might think it's not working and the stack of numbers you see forms a 2D shape of what you've imported. That's telling you that you need aditional files to cover up the numbers. Files needed are mostly picture files in PNG form. (simular to JPEG picture files). Go through what you need or just sort of expierment with it and see what you could come up with. Well it's the best I could explain unless your importing a 3ds file and what materials you need on that file.
