I am on a Mac using Nolimits and when I download a coaster from here and it is a zip file I can never get the 3d objects and cartextures to open with the trackfile.
I download the zip file to my desktop and open it up and a folder shows up with all of the objects and environments and cartextures. How to I get these all to come together with the track file?

better yet, don't use the track packager, because you're running on a mac, use the Pack Extractor.

oh, um, whoever made it should have it come with a read-me. the cartexture should be on it and the 3ds as well if you put them in the right files.

^^ Those usually come with a readme, which is what coasterpimp just stated, but they would most likely be in a zipped folder, but that's just from what I've seen.

Ok I am not really understanding what you guys are saying. Thanks for trying to help but let me try to be a little more specific so I can ride some awesome creations!
Ok let's take the coaster Dune for example. Step 1. I download a zip file onto my desktop.
Step 2. A folder pops up onto my desktop.
Step 3. I open it to find a .nltrack file, a .env file, 3 .tga files(probably cartextures) and a .jpg file

Step 4. I have no idea. This is where I need help.

^ That's what I meant. You move the .nltrack file to the NoLimits Tracks folder in your program files. You move the .env file to the environments folder, .tga to the cartextures, and the .jpg file is probably the terratexture file.

But then do I have to do the rest manually when I want to ride the coaster like go into the editor and set the cartextures and then go into the sim and set the environment?

^ That stuff should already be set, but otherwise, you would have to set it manually
