Oxidation sounds cool, and my coaster is exposed to oxygen...I don't think Crystal Tiger scares anyone. This ain't a kiddy coaster.

Anyways, check out Ragan's logo which I stuck on a cartexture:

I also added about 5 degrees of banking to the drop.

its not a kiddie coaster name[:(]...but w/e we're getting off topic.

I see in alot of the screens you're using solid pre-fabs for the track, I hope thats not really the support-job.

Wing-Over - That's a really nice-looking tunnel! :O It looks like the rest of the terrain doesn't really match it, though.

Jakizle - It looks cool. I hope the track stays within a reasonable area. The twister section looks kinda of like it gets some of the idea from S:ROS. Is the thing into the brakes smooth? And does it have airtime? It'd be cool if it went up a bit steeper, then dropped a bit, then sharply turned into the brakes, maybe a bit of an S turn if necessary.

Eh, the airtime in the twister section varies by seat. In the front, there's ejector going into the tunnel, 0g's exactly on the flat switchback, and from -0.1 to -0.3 on the hill between the last two turns.

And yes, it's pretty smooth ;).

The textures match up near perfectly, but because of the way the lighting and shadows work in that environment the edges of the 3ds terrain look a darker or lighter colour than the normal terrain.

Wing-Over, you should write a tutorial on how to make tunnels like that. I've tried to find some but just can't find any. It would be greatly appreciated to a lot of people :P

Yeah, I was so surprised how quickly you were able to do it.

He is right about the tet=xtures, they look great in the normal environment. I just like that one for the screens because the sky is pretty :).

I like the ending, but I think it would be better if it were closer to the station as on Voyage. Voyages ending hugs the station area really well; over the lift, UNDER the station, over the brake, turn into those brakes. Great visual impact. But with the tunnel there, I suppose it's a stay.

Good luck on supporting.

Here's another look at the ending "back bowl" and you can see how nice of a job WingOver did:

By this time tomorrow, hopefully I will be up to the Stengel Dive. It all depends on wether or not I get the flojector hill done later tonight or not.

Two screens for you this time;

Ok, supports are coming along very well, as I am starting on the final twister section already! Now it's time to ask for the hardest thing to get for us non skilled people, 3ds! I kinda just said it, but would anybody be interested in doing 3d's for Oxidation? All that would be asked for is a station with a q line and exit. The track with completed supports can be sent out as soon as tomorrow.

It's like the one on EGF. One support comes from the bottom, and two supports come from the top, with the the support from the bottom being wideest.

Edit-> That's a wrap! Supports have been completed. My plan for tomorrow is support cleanup and footers, so if anybody volunteers to do the 3d's the track should be ready tomorrow evening.

Supports all look great. Very realistic compared to EGF.

So guys, is there anyone interested in doing the station and q lines? I am almost finished with placing footers.

Infact, I just finished placing all 160 of them. The good thing is they kill fps! Now I'll just sit back and give anybody that wants to volunteer to do 3d's a couple days.

Here's a little something to drool over:

make sure you delete the bottom flange as it is not necessary, and clean up any that look weird.

Thanks to Ragan's suggestions supports are looking ten times better now. There's still a bit of cleaning up to do, so the door's still open for anyone who would be interested in doing 3d's.

Well, since no one is interested in doing 3d's I guess I just need to post it. I'll wait until Sunday unless theres some sorta gaurantee I'll get rates by Saturday.

Your allowed to drool:

Better quality:

edit -> Target release is Sunday, unless anything comes up.

edit 2 -> Since 3d's have fallen through, look out for a release at about 12:10 Sunday morning. The ride's been completed.

Attention! lol...

Since the ride is being uploaded in approx. 1 hour, take a look at the teaser POV:
