Not bad lineup...not great, mainly them cliche metal groups, but it's one hell of a lot better than the UK's 'Metal' gig, I mean I say metal....My Chemical Romance are headling, what the hell is that all about? They are retarded kids in makeup playing pop music, why the hell are they playing Download. Second day headlining we have Linkin Park....need I say more. Not a chance I'm going to Download this year

Very nice lineup, I would die to go there. I really want to see Mastodon live...shame on me for missing their tour here in Germany, but the tickets were sold in less than a week. Have a good time all that go there, should be pretty awesome.

No you dont, I saw them live when they warmed up for Tool back in December. They sucked absolute balls. I mean all I could hear was bass and constant double bass beat, with the odd retarded growl stuck inbetween

I mean, that's absolutely not their fault, it's just the mix... I saw them as Tool's support too, in Switzerland, and couldn't stand the bass when I was right in front of the stage, but as I went more to the side, the mix got acceptable. And they do play their songs real well, I had fun. [approve] Shame the lead guitar was detuned on "Sleeping Giant"... *vomits*

Oh, and that Lineup looks great, I'd love to go... yeah [B)]

The mix could of been perfectly clear, but that wouldnt of stopped them sucking. I listened to the album after I went to see them and that really wasnt any better. It's all that pathetic death metal (or whatever variation death metal fanboys like to call it) screaming and crap guitar riffs. I mean to be fair it did make the guitar work of Adam Jones sound quite god like. The problem with the guitarists of these metal bands is that its the same crappy de-tuned sound with an occasional neo-classical riff chucked in, takes about as much talent as Paris Hilton has

Are you kidding!? I just saw them two days ago and they sounded amazing, it was a pretty small club though so maybe it was just really echo-y when you saw them (Sleeping Giant sounded great btw, not out of tune at all).
Anyway, free ozzfest sounds really cool, if it even comes here. They've had Minnesota on the tour schedule and canceled it for the last three years in a row.
